Hmmmmmmm, never played with balls of steel before. I can only imagine two things coming from having those. The clanging would drive you nuts (haha) as they hit each other or the vibration from the hit would give you a perpetual woody.

If Dennis Hatch feels he can compete with the world number 1 and world champion at 8 ball,then i must say there would be serious consideration for this game to take place.

Until then only Mr Hatch knows that !

Darren is a great player, but he doesn't have to like it against American players like SVB, and a few others. Since the venue is TBC, bring Mr. Appleton over here. I'm sure Shane can get the backing he needs.

Guess he figgers to have a potentially lower 'package' potential than some!?

Guaranteed a shot every other game and all that...?
 
just my opinion but I think there are quite a few players that would step up and play If they could get the backing.

As for a venue how about Vegas around the time of the mosconi Cup. Plenty of tables and venues there. Maybe the MGM would be interested.

The alternating break will keep some people away. I am guessing if you have to go to to the UK it will keep more away. Darren has had this challenge out there for a long time telling people if they come to him they can bet high as a giraffe's ass.

I would love to see Shane and him lock up for a rematch of their Derby set from 2007. Good luck to Daz on finding some action.
