Darren Appleton

There is so much we don't know about Darren at this point. So we don't know what the twenty minutes really means? Was that the time it took for Paramedics to arrive? Was his heart still beating during that time period and etc. So let's just have good hopeful positive thoughts that Darren will recover completely.

Just to let people know Darren had a massive heart attack on monday.hes in a critical condition but stable at mo.hes responding well to treatment at moment.they have had to put him in a induced coma.next couple of days will be key.hes improving everyday so that's good sign.thanks to everyone who's messaged us we are very great full.we will keep u all updated on his progress.also at the moment visiting is family only i know alot would like to visit him,when more can visit him I'll let you know.keep praying for Darren to make a full recovery.

The best Christmas Day is just happening Darren Appleton coming of sedation slowly today, he’s had ventilator tubes pulled out today! He’s trying to talk, still very confused and little aggravated at times but he was saying my name,saying sorry to my dad bless him

he was asking about Dyno and Gigi and he even wanted to try to get up saying he doesn’t wanna sleep. It seems like he knows something has happened to him. Few very crucial days coming up when sedation will be wearing off let’s keep praying for his good health and Merry Christmas to you all!

quick update on darren.better day today and improvement.so they have been bringing him out of sedation through out the day.hes still very confused and trying to pull stuff out,but they said this is normal.also when i was with him he full woke he did respond to some commands from doctor which is a good sign.they will try again tomorrow now.still hell of a long way to go but a positive day i think.thanks again for the kind messages and posts, darren has a lot of love and this will help to get him through this.

I'm an Englishman, raised with a Brindle Bull Dog after WWII. They are Good dogs. Hang in there DA, the new years is upon us.
 
Thought and prayers to Darren and his family. Wishing him a full recovery. Darren and I are the same age and it’s scary. I’m recently on the mend from kidney cancer.
This year has been a real eye opener. Be kind to others. Try to be the version of yourself daily. Nothing is guaranteed in life and everyday is a blessing.
 
Heart disease remains the number 1 killer in the US and I'm sure many, if not most, other civilized countries in the world. That said, cardiology is one of the medical specialties where an enormous amount of knowledge and capabilities exist and it continues to get better all the time.

Now that Darren's cardio issue has been identified and is being addressed, that coupled with the recent reports of him showing some good signs of progress, these have me optimistic that he can get through this episode and on to a long and enjoyable life.

Got to chat with him some in Jayson's booth at the last Expo. He is an engaging and funny guy. Very easy to like Darren.

Wishing him a complete and speedy recovery.
