Day 2 Mosconi Matches in Progress Coverage

Shane hits a superb break and Deuel has an easy one ball. USA runs out to tie the match.

Europe 1 USA 1

Gray breaks wetland but Darren must push. Team USA wisely give it back and Darren misses a tough shot. Shane is jacked up on the two and hangs it, selling out the rack. On a table playing this loose, Sahne's miss was highly unexpected.

Europe 2 USA 1

We have to get a few rolls like that three ball did. C'mon. Usa needs help big-time, Europe doesn't need anymore. The crowd is enough.

Deuel break in rack four is wet and Shane has a simple shot on the one. Should be out.. And they get the job done.

It's all tied at 2-2.

I'm sorry but if you miss an easy shot like Shane did you don't deserve to get away with it. He created his own bad luck roll

Appleton breaks wet in rack five but no runout is available. Gray plays shape for a safety, executed well by Appleton. Shane fouls and Gray now has ball in hand.

Europe should be out ... And they are not, as Gray misses a nine ball and sells it out.

USA 3 Europe 2

A much needed gift and Team USA must capitalize on it.

I wonder if Darren is bothered buy that miss… or if he is at himself for the terrible position he left his partner.

I know the process for picking the American team changed this year. But, has the Europe team been picked the old way or the same as team USA?

I don't want to be that guy that says "I told you so"…. but jeesh why is Corey on this team……I can think of several Players that I would MUCH rather be playing for the US.

Am I the only one who thinks ekonomopolis should not be on the team, not because of his skill or ability, but because he doesn't speak English very well and therefore can not communicate as well (which is key for team cohesiveness)
