DCC BigFoot Match Updates

Efren breaks...

Big Surprise, another dry break...

One has a pocket it looks like.

Jayson over cuts it but pocket speed saves him after a second or so delay at the precipice of the pocket.

The Three has to squeeze past the ten but pocket face to pocket faces it's way in and now there doesn't seem to be any problems aside from the eight being close to the seven.

He gets a little straighter on the six than he would've liked.

He wanted to slide over and forward for the seven but instead chooses to stop on the six and take a slightly tougher cut. He recovers perfectly, but I guess he didn't like the nine in the side and draws back to the head rail to play the nine in the corner.

10-7.

Shaw breaking on the hill.

Shaw makes two balls on the break and the one is open but the cb swings back up and rests against the two.

He makes the ball jacked up over the two but the cueball rests against the eight completely hooking it.

He kicks and hits the two ball, breaking out a slight cluster and leaving Efren a thin cut on the two. Two goes down and the four is open.

Table is open, Efren isn't done yet, no fork sticking...

Gets a wider angle on the eight than he wanted and his heart is probably racing from waiting for the bobbles to stop and the ball to drop but it does.

10-8.

Efren breaks...

a few balls skirt with pockets, but yet another dry break from Efren.

The ten ends up by the corner pocket and Shaw tries a two way run at it and while he brushes the ten with the cue ball it doesn't fall, but Efren is hooked and misses the one kicking at it, leaving Shaw a one ten combo to end it.

11-8.

He's washed up. It's time for him to quit. He doesn't smile as much anymore.

He can't keep up with today's big boys.

Freddie <~~~ will happily watch the washed-up GOAT win the MOT again

Like I said earlier: look at the Bigfoot players list. Efren is the weak link.:slap:
Prove me wrong, Bata Reyes!

Edit- perhaps I should read the whole thread.

Efren had control of it up 5-3 with Shaw taking some cavalier shot choices early in the match having 10 errors to that point.

Efrens dry break at 5-3 is where it all collapsed with Shaw going on a 5 game tear to make it 8-5. At that point all he really had to do was lean on him

It won't let me give you any more rep, but thanks for these updates.

Different cue today?

ICBW....I think Efren was using a different cue today vs yesterday.

Anyone know for sure?

Efren playing well.

Still undefeated in banks.
Can someone confirm this?

From the DCC website, the "Completed Matches" link only shows results up to round 7, with Efren still being undefeated. However, in the "Current Matches" link they are already in round 10 and Efren doesn't have a match scheduled. Is he still alive in banks?

Thanks for the updates.

Seems like if Efren had an average break, he probably would have won.

Who knows....that updated list is the same as it was last night at 11pm......

Maybe hire someone to keep track of it......JEEZ

Jay just said that people don't realize SVB is a complete player who is not only good at the break. Really? Who in the world thinks that?

Shane to break...

Shane breaks dry but the eight gets in front of the one by the corrner.

DO shoots a kick safe and Shane attempts the same, but may have left a shot on the one.

He did, but Dennis shanks it and leaves a full ball on the one but the six is between the one and the corner.

Of course Shane fires in the combo and gets shape on the one.

The two is in a slightly precarious position by the five and the side.
Looks like Shane set up to play a lock up three rail safety but he also may be able to just cut the two up in the corner.

He cuts it in with perfect shape on the three.

I don't foresee any additional problems this rack.

Shane is definitely taking his time, making sure he doesn't make a simple mistake.

2-0 Shane.
