Funny I used to beat JJ In Waco around 1990 when he was going to a trade school their.. He quit school and went back to Houston. The rest is history.

I agree with you 100%! However I blame this situation on Greg Sullivan as he has stated many times "I wanted to create an event where your a sucker if you don't play" I am not bashing him at all but seeing as the bank entry numbers grow every year the scales were bound to tip. JMO.
Heck, it costs $12 to go see a movie in the theater. So, for $15 to watch pool action for 12 hours, not a bad deal. $1.25 an hour. Now that's stealing

...but being road tough is a big factor....when you're fully committed to playing for
money.....often a one room player who knows everything you do...needs the eight.
