I'm going to have to throw out Ronnie Wisemans' name.

Like him or not......he's either playing or involved in almost all the big action at every DCC in one way or another since it started.

I guarantee more players from around the world call or ask him about matching up with someone than anyone else out there. If anyone wants to bet on that all we have to do is match up phone records.

Well, I wasn't there so I don't have the whole picture on who was in action with who for how much, but from what I saw it would be Dippy who seemed to have his own nightly TV show on TAR the whole week.

If the actual voting is reflective of this thread so far, looks like Dippy will get free entry into the DCC for life. Is that for every event?

Dippy with a lifetime freeroll should make for some "colorful" DCC's in the future.

did dippy play in any of the tournaments?

I don't believe so, but I also don't see from what I read where that is required to be eligible. Historically, isn't the DCC known for an event where many players not competing come to take off on the gathering assembled there for the week? But I would be curious to know if any non-competitor has ever been awarded the prize.
