Deal Gone Bad .........Wild West

Let me first start by saying to all other AZers that I have done everything possible to resolve this issue and not post this but it seems I have no other choice. This Deal Gone Bad started 2 Months ago and still has not been resolved. Guess I am screwed now for sure by posting this but to be Honest I feel like I was screwed the whole time anyway and the Honest people on these forums need to be warned.
I will give it to you in a nutshell. On May 3rd I sent payment of $100 USPS Money order to Wild West aka R.West for a Mcdaniel Shaft he was selling. The Money Order was made out to a Kayla Silkwood at his request aka his girlfriend according to West. I am not sure why but he assured me that this was ok and that they lived together and this is what he wanted. When I received the shaft in the mail it was NOT a Mcdaniel shaft and did not fit my cue of course. After contacting West and telling him about the shaft not being correct we agreed for me to return the shaft to him and he would send me my $100 Refund. I then mailed the shaft back to him With all shipment info and Confirmation #'s included but then the shaft got lost by the USPS for 2 weeks with me trying to locate it before it finally did arrive safely. I did keep in touch with West the whole time the shaft was missing and explained to him that I was trying to locate it via USPS.
After confirming with West he did get the shaft and he would send the $100 Refund the Deal went Bad. I have sent numerous pm's and have had little response other than him saying he mailed the refund but he does not know the date he mailed it and that he did not get any confirmation numbers so he does not know where it could be and USPS can't help him. He has no proof he has even sent the refund and has basically told me he does not want to make things right. I told him that if this was not resolved by today JULY 1st that I was going to take it to the next level and this post is proof that I was not going to just let it go without a warning to others.
So with this being said I figured it's worth the $100 loss to make sure this gets out there as a warning to anyone else who deals with
R.West or Kayla Silkwood of Houston Tx to remember my story about the guy on Az who (GOT THE SHAFT) but really didn't. Hope this Helps Somebody

Thanks for the information Paul, but you also should give the gentleman a Negative I-Trader Rating. While this post is good to alert people to this problem, that will have a more permanent effect that everyone can see. I would also contact the forum Moderators and let them know what and why you are doing what you are. This way if everything you have posted is correct the bad rating he gives you in retaliation can be lifted.

Hopefully Wild West will chime in here soon, and tell his side of the story. I will wait before making any other responses to this thread, until after he has posted his response.

I hope things work out!!!!!!
 
Who is 'wild west' ?? I was under the impression it was Roland Garcia and then I saw a post by him, saying he was not Roland. :confused:
 
Roland garcia! had a problem before ,and a cuemaker confirmed me it was him good luck hre is in Texas

I did not post Negative I Trader rating for Wild West for a few good reasons. In this case I wanted to wait and give him the chance to explain himself and his actions to the other members here on Az because he would not tell me. I asked him over and over to make it right. I know also that Wild West has a good rep on Az based on his Feedback to this point and I chose not to leave Feed back at this point based on that. If anyone cares to review my I trader Feedback, He even gave me positive feedback so I doubt he could help himself look good in placing blame on me. I Hope people can understand why I am doing this.
I value my reputation here on Az and to those who know me or have dealt with me know I would never ever do something like this without just cause I am a very Honest person.

Paul is a good guy

I will be one of the first, but certainly not the last, person to post here that Paul is a great guy to deal with, and I would believe everything he says. One of the assets on AZB, and I have never heard about anybody being treated badly by him. Hell, how he is treating this situation shows the kind of person he is - calm, collected, yet angry, and hoping to work things out. Good luck, and I hope it works out for you Paul, and thanks for letting us all know the situation, and looking out for the community. That is what AZB is all about.

Sorry to hear this has not been resolved my friend, Paul is a great guy to deal with, we have had a number of transactions with no problems at all.
 
This Wild West guy needs to send you $103 via paypal, ASAP. If the so-called payment that he says he sent somehow ever gets to you, then you can reimburse him.

I find it absolutely disgusting how people will pull this kind of stunt over $100.

Did he supposely sent payment to you via Money order?, check?, cashiers check? If money order, he needs to get his butt to the post office (or wherever he got it) and put a claim in to retrieve the lost order. Same with cashiers. If personal check, send another one....
 
Yeah, this is the same guy selling pieces of leather that are too thick to be used as "cue wraps". This caused me a lot of problems when I tried to have a cue maker install the wrap.
 
I've just about given up trying to by anything from people on this site. My most recent disaster was a video I ordered in February from a guy who posts frequently on this site. Several pm's but still no video. I ordered a cue a couple years ago and the deal got so screwed up that I just told the guy to keep the down payment and forget the whole thing. A few bad apples ruin it for the honest sellers.

With a good rep on AZ you can make a decent profit and put some extra income in your pocket.

With a BAD rep...Your selling days are over.

It's just stupid that you would spoil your rep for $100!!!!!!

When you trust someone and they take you it hits deep, where you live. It's very personal....

Interesting.. Doesn't seem like too many people care about this bad deal and you losing money. Not sure why considering how other people get the fork stuck in them. lol

Did he send a money order? He should have the stub for it. He can see if it has been cashed. He can cancel it and send another. Good luck.
 
He was just online about 15 minutes ago. He must have just overlooked the thread with his name in the title.:( Hope all works out, but don't know how likely that is.
 
i hate to see these things happen, but with the economy the way it is, I fear this might happen more often. But to sell out your reputation cheap is crazy unless your homeless or something.

this is EXACTLY the reason i will NEVER buy/sell any cue from/to anyone i don't get to know well PERIOD.....and that may take some time............

skins ------------ takes the time to know his buyer(s) even though knowing full well that all will prolly' end up with Marcus.......doesn't need anymore time with him...;)

Well most of the threads like this really take off after the scammer comes on and starts BS'ing everyone. ;) Then it's pile on time!!

Trust me his name is on my list.
 
Spread the word about the search function too. :confused: I feel for ya but who doesnt at least search the name of a person your doing a transaction with? This should be the first sticky of this section- Use the search feature!
