Thanks for the info, Rob. I hope he is paying everybody this month. It seems like he pays the North American players one month, then the Asian players the next, and then in the 3rd month he pays the European players. I'll check with a friend of mine here in the States to see if he's gotten anything yet. As of yesterday he hadn't received anything for quite some time.

BTW... Don't spend it all in one place! :D
 
I just hope the checks don't bounce. Don't laugh, it could happen.

So now it's been a mere 15 months and the prize money is two-thirds paid. Now that's a record to be proud of. I want to hear Dumbo's spiel about prompt payments one more time.

i know someone from the US that did receive the September 15th payment. so hopefully, the remainder of you guys will get yours too.

Nobody said this was groundbreaking stuff,or this will now be the rising of the pheonix from the flames,it was just a quick note to let players know that their cheque is on the way.We all know how bad a scenario this is for everybody concerned with the IPT and pool in general.But i tried to put it into perspective with my topic heading "DECENT NEWS" Rob Mac

Rob, I'm glad for you and everyone who got a check! It's just so ironic to me that the people who stood on a podium and made such a big deal about other promoters and poor or late payments, pulled a stunt like this. Talk about eating your own words.

One of the pillars of the IPT was the PROMPT payment promise. They made such a big deal out of it. You do remember, don't you?

Of course i remember jay,i havent said anything to the contrary,as i have tried to say i just posted a little note to let other players know that they ""DO" have a cheque on the way(some people could really do with the money and the heads up that it is def on its way)as we all know the whole scenario inside out,dont beleive any more can be achieved by running the IPT down,it has all been said before.
I think in future if i am one of the first to receive my cheque i will not bother saying anything,i apologise for any inconvenience

What I have found interesting, I have seen KT on TV way more than ever before, he's definitely workin' it on his end.

Niels Feijen got the 6th check in yesterday! So I guess the European boy's are also on the paylist.
 
Puzzling

Aside from being glad that the players are receiving payments. Does anyone, other than myself and a few others, find it totally absurd that there are still many people that actually seem to be pleased with this arrangement, want to continue doing business with this slimebag, or think that anything would change if they did?

Or, am I the one that is delusional?:confused:

He has credit card thievery down to a science. He knows exactly how far he can go and what he can get away with. They will keep hitting it until you complain and then they will stall as long as possible, and finally quit just before the Feds come after them. He's walking a tightrope with the law and seems to enjoy the game.

I'm curious about the latest promise, that of a bi-monthly email starting in September. Now that it is October, have they been sending emails as promised ?
