Well done, Mike! Something of a time capsule match for 9ball fans with one on the spot and break from anywhere in the kitchen. It made for some exciting pool.

i watched a bit. mike had a good patch of pretty dominating play, running out, probably led by ~10 racks at one point. didn't watch the mickey comeback

Excellent match to watch, that is some pool that is going the way of the dodo. Incredible that Mike has gotten back to that speed while not playing full time. Both of these guys are very entertaining, that set had me sweating for sure. What a shame that talent like this will never be properly financially supported in the US.

I just wrote this to my "pool hall close friend" group chat, a few of them (who are 590's, slightly better than me) think the balls should be hit softly and mostly center ball:

"BTW you slow rolling bangers, if you saw any of Mike Dechaine's match last night, you would have seen how pool is meant to be played. POW! POW! POW! And spin about every shot. And hit the 9 POW and send the CB to the other end of the table after pocketing it."
