No worse than a lot of the other gaudy cues and cases people seem to like.
I've won a few"ugliest cue" contests over the years.
Won't mention the builder because I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings but I had a custom cue with pink mop points but it wasn't mother of pearl, it was some kind of elmers glue with pink swirls.
Took it in trade for 2 generic shafts by a local cuemaker.
The linen wrap was cleared over like Meucci, but the linen was multi colored sparkle linen.
The points were skinny and far apart, but it was a nice piece of cocobolo, and it played really good.
I sold that cue believe it or not, and the guy shattered it a couple weeks later.

It's good to have friends who can sell that stuff for me in the pool hall while I'm not there.
