Derby City action

hi, does anybody know who will be playing at the ring game that Grady mathews will be hosting? I'm not entirely sure how does this game works , and how the players will be picked for this type of match. I was curious to know , if names are interesting for me ill buy the ppv from accu-stats,

and also who won the match Rafael Martinez vs. Casey Pierson? in banks, thanks.

Raf won 3-0 then Brumbach won in 20 minutes and then Shannon D won over David Maddox, the weatherman in about the same time...

Last I checked, Shannon Daulton, Shannon Murphy and John Brumback were still alive in the Banks Ring Game. RIGHT NOW in the TAR PIT it's wall to wall with Shane playing Mike Dechaine for 10K. They are playing even Ten Ball, Race To 21, with Dippy breaking for Shane! More to come later.

P.S. Dippy beat Dechaine for 6K last night in their match (Dippy lost 4K at a thou a game, and then beat him in a Race To 5 for 10K) and Murphy took Jeremy off for 2,500 playing Banks. I got out just in time. He lost five in a row after I left.

Jeanette's downstairs entertaining the troops, taking on all comers. If anyone can beat her they will win her personal glove. No one can so far. She is playing some tough bar table Eight Ball. Jeanette is looking good for a gal that just gave birth four months ago. She loves it here!

P.S. Beau dropped out of the Fatboy. Rafael will get his spot.

Dechaine wins 21-18. They were playing for 11K total. No more TAR matches tonight. Been a long day for me. I'm going to try to get some rest. The One Pocket Challenge starts tomorrow.

I saw the most of the first match between dippy and gabe.... Im at work and cant get ustream.. anyone no the score of the second...

Jay, what game/how were Dippy and Mike playing?

Mike Dechaine is playing Dippy thousand a game One Hole, giving him 15-4. Corey is coaching Mike. Mike got out ahead, but he is behind now. They have started and stopped about three times already.
P.S. Dippy beat Dechaine for 6K last night in their match (Dippy lost 4K at a thou a game, and then beat him in a Race To 5 for 10K) and Murphy took Jeremy off for 2,500 playing Banks.

The match ups last night were Dechaine & SVB (7k per man), 10 ball, race to 21 and Dippy was SVB's designated breaker. Dechaine won it 21-18.

Following that match was Gabe vs Dippy playing 18-4 one pocket. If I remember correctly, it was a race to 6 (6k to 7k per man can't remember). I fell asleep when the score was 2-1 Dippy. I woke up to see the score tied at 2 and never saw anything else.

If Gabe & Dippy played 2 sets, who won the first one & does anyone have the final score on the 2nd set? Thanks.

Dippy won the 2nd set after being down 6-3 going 7 for $8K. He ran 4 & out the last game. They were saying that Dippy had about $40k bet with all the side action for the 2nd set, not sure of the 1st. At one point when Dippy was down like 4-1 to Gabe, I thought I heard him say he will forfeit this set if Gabe would play the next one for $50K. It didn't happen but it was a fun bark.

TAR's first night of streaming was the Dippy show for sure. And pretty entertaining for those that could stay awake, but i wasn't one of them ;). This could be a great DCC if the 1st night is any indication. They say Dippy will be leaving Monday...we'll see.

updates

Jay can we get some updates? Heard Darren Appleton over slept and is out of Banks... has he had any luck finding a game?

Been working the Fatboy Challenge all day. Darren Appleton is leading with a 40.
Action tonight included Cliff giving Rob Saez 10-7 in a Race To Four. He won four straight. They say he caught a gear. Meanwhile he'd been playing the One Pocket Challenge all day and got in stroke. Also right now Shane is giving Scooter the break and the six out, Twelve Ahead, for some big bucks. A minute ago they told me Shane was on the hill!
Sorry I can't do more gang. I've just been too busy so far.

Shane just took it down. Scooter won a game to get back down to 10, then Shane won 2 to get it.

Scooter was asking for the break, call 5, and 6 out. Shane didn't want to play anymore. Don't know if they will play again tomorrow.

I doubt Shane is giving up the 5 and I hear it wasn't too friendly last night so doubt they do anything soon.

I wish I could be there , Im awaiting the S.B.E. Cant come soon enough,"Clatterbuck" is giving that title up this year..

Ahh, how I wish I were there. Well, except maybe not in the TAR room from midnight to 2 am last night.

They say it takes a village, but it only took a couple loudmouths to spoil the action... :(

I cashed out of the feed at 2am, don't know if Justin and the TAR gang salvaged something afterwards, I hope they did. I know they wanted to, but man oh man, were they being tested. At one point the microphone somehow "slipped a wire" and the audio went out. When the wire was "reconnected", one person's absence was rather noticeable.

That's a tough environment for TAR, much less anyone to navigate. I'm not out to trash anyone's name here, but it just struck me how volatile and difficult this action room can be. Someone takes a tough loss, maybe a bit too much mixture, a little too much bravado, and the primordial stew is ripe for natural selection to thin the heard.

I was expecting bodies to start flying a couple times. Thanks for taking on the challenge gents and keeping order. Good thing you guys are huge and take no crap.
