Determining left / right inside or outside pivots or sweeps

So "imagine the resulting path of the object ball" is the entirely objective method for determining the direction to pivot?

pj <- maybe it's not English...?

No it's not the entirely objective method but it is a method you could use.
Buy the book for the "entirely objective method"

Ok, once you have your perception and the fixed cue ball.
Look through center cue ball to imagine the resulting path of the object ball.
Does it hit the rail thick or thin of the pocket?
If it would would appear be a too thick contact then you need to thin the shot, which would be a half
tip pivot from the inside...
and vice versa.

There's progress here. Now, at least someone is admitting you have to visualize the hit.

If you pivot half a tip from inside, can you still stay at the center of the cue ball if you don't want any side spin ?

Or you can properly learn CTE and do the pivots as prescribed by the system without judgement.

Really?
And if you apply inside spin or outside spin, there would be no judgement needed from tip to tip or shaft to shaft ? Is that some kind of magic ?
Never mind cue ball speed and different kind of cue balls.

Of course there is judgement for spin and speed control along with other things. To think otherwise is stupid

The same every player does when using any aiming method -- I use my judgement, based on experience. (BC)

That's a bit misleading. Acquiring the perception is relatively easy, but how exactly do you determine when a 15 should be an inside 15 or an outside 15? With CTE every shot requires an inside or outside pivot to thin or thicken the perceived shot. If you don't use visual judgement based on experience, how in the world do you know if the shot requires thinning or thickening? If you say you just know it automatically, then that same automatic knowledge can be said of every aiming method...."I just know it when I see it."

I know you believe this is true, and more power to you in your aiming progress with that belief.

But here's the "alternative fact": It's impossible to even choose the A/B/C aimpoint "without judgment".

It's not misleading at all. Whether to thicken or thin a shot will be all laid out perfectly in the book.

And you've been pushing alternative bullshit for 20 something years and been wrong.
It is what it is and if you ever decide to REALLY LEARN CTE then maybe you could understand better.
