Deuel vs Schmidt one pocket on TAR

Its up to the people running the event to police the actions
of the players. Some people hate Earl and others think its awesome
to see a grown man have a mental breakdown,to each there own.
John may of acted like a child to some and not to others.
It comes down to the govern bodies that promote and host the event
to intervene if a player is getting out of line.Corey's job was to play
pool which he did,John did his job and played pool but looks like
the people letting this go finds its good for the sport of pool cause
this seems to be a on going thing with pool that seems to have no
end.I agree its nice to see emotion but not when its insulting to
your opponent or throws him off his game.

I watched the whole 10 ball match and didn't hear John say or do anything to Corey. Corey even forgot to call a ball and John asked him if he meant to make it and Corey said yes and John said go ahead and shoot then. Techically it was a foul. What I saw today is John play lights out, period. No sharking, no excuses, he was the better player today, maybe a different result on another day, but sharking or insults can't be used as an excuse for Corey losing, because it didn't happen.....

Professional Pool

John acted like the ass he has been since he was 18. During the podcast i thought maybe things had changed a little. But, NO. Corry took his crap for hours then finally told " i don't talk when you shoot". Basically telling him to shut up.
I wasn't going to watch tonight, but now I have to,just to watch Corry beat John's ass in 10 ball.

Corey behaved like a class act. He behaved like a professional. He deserves any sponsorship he gets. He got sharked, and lost his love of the game from day 2 .
John puts the ass into class. He acted like a hustler. Some people like that, I'm not sure any sponsor would want to be associated with that.
If he wants respect as a Professional ,then he should behave like one.

I watched all three days. Loved the all around. Some amazing play. Great job by Justin and the action report.

2nd post (my first was mysteriously erased)

I did not watch Justin's drama show, they are playing on the west coast (where schmidt is from - favortism). Ken Schunamen who worships Schmidt is the ref? definitley favortism. Justin will allow Schmidt to act any ol' way he wants - drama. Some just never grow out of their drama act, they see that when there little that crying will help them get what they want. Schmidt's crying is intensley annoying, it is my opinion that Justin allows the TAR players to act like this cause maybe he secretly wants them to look bad. I know this sound weird but some people never made it as a pool player, they are a little bitter from this fact and so they want to get back at the sport. This may or may not be accurate, maybe he grew up in a house hold where there was much drama. Either way there has to be some explanation why he persists on allowingthe players (like Schmidt and others to act in an unsportsman-like manner). I have a question to anyone affiliated with TAR and the way they intend to promote our sport of pocket billiards. Is it TAR agenda to promote a pool match up as an exhibition match or a gambling match, I can assure yall' there is a huge difference between the two. From what I have seen they prefer the hustler/gambling style if that makes any sense at all. In an exhibition match a player will be fined for acting out in an unsportsman-like manner, I think Corey understands now that there are no rules in TAR's agenda and John's sharking tactics.

People are forgetting that this is still action. This is not a tournament. Gambling behavior differs from tournament behavior, plain and simple.

All of the above is why they should have someone like Bartram, JJ, Shuff or Oscar play John next, not you....

I don't think its that simple. These 2 guys didn't just meet at the poolhall and start
gambling,it was promoted(like a tournament would be). I think being
a true sportsman has nothing to do with if its a tournament or not
but has more to do with respecting the game as well as your opponent.

8 ball: Deuel 15 - Schmidt 11
1 Pocket: Schmidt 8 - Deuel 7
10 Ball: Schmidt 21 - Deuel 10

Thank you. Nothing against Schmidt, but I was pulling for Corey. I didn't know John acted like that. I heard he was picky about table conditions but wow.

John's demeanor is gentlemanly when things are rollin' his way. When they're not, not so much. I guess that's human nature. That being said, John's play was stellar in the second half of one pocket and all of 10 ball...

Do any of you hear that?

If you really listen, you can hear John laughing at Danny all the way to the bank.

What's that John? You won that match against Gentile a few weeks ago? And you beat Corey? Wow! What's Harriman been up to?

Hello?

Anyone?

And you know if JJ or Bart plays Schmidt there will need to be like $20k in the middle on top of TAR's $6k and expenses...

I'm still not convinced that Schmidt will get some one pocket action from Corey. Hell, they may be playing right now...

BTW, yes JS played great pool in the 10 ball and some good play in the one pocket. I don't think anyone could have beat him in the 10 ball. He didn't miss anything.
