Diamonds Billiards and Billy Incordona

Diamonds Billiards in Dallas is now open and ready for action. The tables are just great. Brand new with new tables, great cloth, new balls, plenty of room to play , and a great atmosphere.
What is puzzling to me is how little play Bill Incordona is getting. He is fired up and really enjoying playing again and has never been shy about matching up. If one were to "get him going" there is no telling what one could win here.
Anyone intrested can contact me here or at lewispjones@hitmail.com.
Also, Diamonds isopen 24-7.

Lewis, should that Email be hotmail rather than hitmail? I'm dying to see the joint myself. But I don't know when I'd ever get over to Dallas.:( Good luck!

Doc

I heard that Rodney Morris moved to TX, anyone know where?

Well, I'm not saying it's true, but everything I've ever heard about Billy points to the fact that he is a lock artist. That might be the reason why action isn't hot and heavy.

And again, before I get attacked for saying that, I just want to point out how everyone always says how few losers he books. Then again, didn't he come up short in that match right before this new room opened?

Hey Russ. Not attacking you here. Just my thoughts on the subject. Billy definitely has a lot of gamble. I don't know if I would put a name on him as far as being a lock artist or anything like that. What it is, I believe, is that when he does get in action, he really feels like he is going to win so he bets it up pretty good. As a matter of fact, right after that recent loss of which your were talking about, he offered the game right back at Ike and Co. and they declined a game they just won at.

I didn't realize Diamonds was open 24-7. That's pretty nifty!

Ironman - When do you move up here? I want a rematch! :p Are you coming up again this Sunday?

Billy loves the place and eqipment. He is enjoying playing again and wants action.
Everybody is looked at as a lock artist or something negative when they have survived this game for over 30 years. Billy has plenty of gamble, he just doesn"t want to give it away. How many do we know who would fly to Detroit to Play Chohan at the young age of 63. That is heart!

Thanks, I-man. If they're planning to have a decent added 1P tournament, you'll get a lot of players from Dixie. I can think of 4 or 5 snarly-toothed hustlers from New Orleans alone who would undoubtedly play...

Anyway be sure to post the dates on onepocket.org.

Timing might be perfect

I may tag along on a week long business trip to Dallas in July. I have several friends there I want to catch up with but was wondering what I would do with the rest of my time. Finding a nice new pool hall sounds like the ticket and I would like to meet Billy, I thoroughly enjoy him on the accu-stats video's. Doubt we would match up since I am old and blind and cripple and don't like giving my money away either!

I'd like to see him and Archer locked in a room with ten thousand a piece. They'd never end up playing. Neither one of them would ever have two balls the best of it. Bottom line. I've never seen either one of them match up when I didn't think they had at least two balls the best of it. That's how they survive. Smart? Maybe soooo.

You know, some people think gambling is about giving it away and that just ain't true. "Smaert Gambler" might be a real contradiction in terms, I'll admitt, but there is nothing wrong with trying to get every advantage one possibly can. Today's players {or many} seem to think the trick is to ohave it won before they even play. If not they just don't even go through the effort. That IMO is not a gambler.

I mis spoke a bit. It isn't open 24 hrs, but if action is going on, it can stay open. I should have been cllearer on that.

I"m in the process of moving now and yes I will be back Sunday.

Rematch? There are better bargains out there, but I would like a repeat of last week. It was fun. You are a cagy guy with some pretty nifty moves. I caught a lot of breaks all day long and was very fortunate. But, that's pool playin!

I honestly did. In fact, I think that is the only 1 pocket tournament I ever won. Cme to think of it, I think it is the only one I ever played in. Nope, the second.

Don't let Ironman fool you! He got through David G. with only a 10-7 spot... not something I think I could do! :p

Ironman - Okay, not a re-match, but we'll have to play again soon once you move up here! :p We both missed shots we shouldn't have and made shots we shouldn't have, but you definitely out-played me! :p See you Sunday! :p
