By the way...

did you know that if you treat yourself to a brand new JB case,
he won't charge you anything extra to have your initials put on?

Thanks! and good one:p JB

John, and you covered the "spread,"

First I would like to thank all the azb'ers that came up to me at the dcc and chatted with me. I wish i could remember them all but the whole week turns into kind of a blur after about 5 or 6 days for me.

It's very hard to stay rested up down there. The more you win the more you have to play, lol. One night I had to play a 9ball match at 11:30pm and then a one pocket match at 10:00 am. Hard on an old man.

My goal was to come home with enough so I can build a brand new building for my pool table and I think got -r- done:thumbup:

Thanks everyone for the good words and congrats. It was a great week at the dcc!!!.

You played well, John, and you covered the "spread," (you got in the top 3 All-Around)

John...I watched several of your matches. Congrats on the great playing! I came up to you and mentioned that my buddy had won one of the prizes at the 1-pkt HOF dinner, which included your banks dvds. I was unable to find you Sat. as I worked all day. Could you please mail it to me, so I can forward it to my friend? I'll PM you my address info.

Getting to the finals in Banks, 9th or 10th round in One Pocket, 9th Round in 9-Ball, and 3rd in the All-Around is way more than doing "pretty good"!

That is a tremendous accomplishment, and shows the outstanding talent you have for all games in pool. Not to mention it is basically the only competitive pool you play each year. It is very hard for people who are not around the DCC a lot to completely understand how tough it is to go up against those fields, the grueling format of the DCC, and to come in 3rd overall.

You are a great example for others to follow in the game... always classy, determined, focused, and play with a tremendous amount of heart.

I'm very proud to be one of your sponsors!

Thanks Jamie!! I'm proud to have you in my corner. Your ok to hang out with too! haha
Good times my friend!! John B.

PS: guess that little tune up/ lesson helped ya.:D You played some awesome bank pool my friend and beat some top players!!

Nice meeting you Scott Lee and thanks!. When you told me that I probably gave you a funny look as no one asked me or told me that I was donating any dvds. I will however talk to Steve B. about this matter and get back to ya. Thanks again,John B.

You did great kid!

It is pretty amazing how well you can compete without doing it full time. It's actually pretty inspirational.

Way to go.

John,

I was rooting for you to take down the banks. Nevertheless, you played great and I think you showed a lot of hear there in the the third game of the finals.

As a player that is solidly in "amateur" status, it is extra refreshing to see a pro player like yourself want to use his winnings to build a room for his table! So many pros expect free stuff from others, and sometimes just generally do not show a passion for pool.

Maybe you can take the whole thing down next year, but you did have a fantastic showing.

Also, I was going to say hi, but I wasn't sure if you would remember me from last year. :sorry: Anyway, great shooting.

Great tournament, John! Watchin you and the other top Pros really gives me an appreciation for the knowledge and skill you possess. Thanks for putting out that Banking Secrets dvd by the way. I like learning how a shot is done, even if I can't do it myself (yet). Good luck with your new building.

Could you please alter your plans for the building, John?.....it's gonna be too small.
since everyone on AZ was rooting for you, we all wanna visit....
....all fifty some thousand of us.

Please make the coffee strong, and I don't like anchovies on my pizza...

Great shooting, sir. :bow-down:
