Bob is correct. Danny is still in the hospital. Been there a month now and not sure when he will be leaving. The good news is he is getting better, able to eat again (all soft foods) and gaining some weight back. At the ripe old age of 86 Danny continues to be the same fighter he has been all his life. I doubt anyone else would have survived what he has been through during the last twenty years of his life, especially at his age. Surgery after surgery and multiple hospitalizations. All are "plumbing"issues, some of which cannot be resolved, only tolerated.

The good news is that Danny is sounding chipper again and anxious to get back to his life outside. I told him I would be there for his hundreth birthday and he just laughed.

Thanks for update. Covid is hard on “older” victims. Wish him the best and hope he gets out soon.

I created Danny DiLiberto's Wikipedia page in 2008. Some of the content was deleted by Wikipedia editors because I could not verify it. As well, Diana Hoppe is who asked me if I could create a Wikipedia page with her photos of Danny, but when I posted her photos at her request, Wikipedia deleted them because they were not mine.

In that regard, if anyone has a photo of Danny that they are willing to have as "free and open domain" to put on his Wikipedia page, that would be great. I can post it there.

Meanwhile, I will try to contact Steve Booth and see if he will let me post one of his photos when Danny was admitted in the One Pocket Hall of Fame, as depicted below, on onepocket.org: https://www.onepocket.org/hof/inductees/onepocket/danny-diliberto/
