Couple of drops of 99% alcohol on a Mr Clean sponge, a quick wipe around the outside of the ferrule, and voila---- white again

Mr. Clean Magic Eraser works great. 99% isopropyl alcohol on an ME, but I keep a couple of strips of alcohol swabs in my case. The swabs you use to clean the area before you get a needle.

I've cleaned the dirtiest of ferrules for people at the hall with just one swab.

I clean ferrules before every tip replacement using shaft cleaner from unique.........I have stopped looking for a product to compete with it....

A little soap and water works fine.

if it has tiny scratches, buffing/rubbing compound is your friend, but its not the leather tips friend, so ensure you dont get any on the tip.

A little Bon Ami in a rag wetted with a little alcohol works great.

Especially Arm and Hammer toothpaste.

shaving cream or cheap toothpaste, turtle wax polishing compound. magic eraser with water, etc. 2000 grit sandpaper and elbow grease. A little car wax with cleaners. God luck, lots of options. John

a product called "bar keepers friend" is a super cleaner doesnt smell but its works on all kinds of dirt also on sinks and burnt pots its a must to have under the sink great all around cleaner i have used this on dirty linen wraps over the years i believ you can get this at walmart i posted there where to buy link below
