You need to realize that your posts are hostile, mean spirited, nasty and vicious at times.

Tap tap tap, and thank you.

Dave, likely will also be called a "sucker punching monkey" for this, but he knows better

Wow, do you realize how offensive many people might find this? This is an incredibly emotional speech that was written at a very sensitive time. A lot of people died prior to this speech and a lot of people have died since and all in relation to this speech. It's debatable which terms are acceptable to refer to African-Americans. As a rule, the one you used should be avoided along with anything else that begins with "N".

Well, my intentions were not to be offensive at all. As I said I changed some words in the speech during some few minutes, trying to make it to something I thought could be nice.

Sorry if I have offended anyone with it.

Why is it the threads with the highest page counts are always the drama-riddled ones? :/

I have a new name for you. "Reverend Roy". Kind of has a ring to it, doesn't it?

I think you should be hired to say the opening prayer at ALL pool tournaments from now on.

Hey man, your speech was great! I loved it! It was not offensive in any way. I wish you had left it up there.
What you did was lighten the mood up around here.

Like I said, I will respect you as I respect anybody else in person and here in this forum, but respect is a two way street. Instead of moaning and crying and pointing fingers at the UPA and all the ancient history, move forward and try to see what you can do to be part of the solution.

Dave,

You're one of the few that have given to this sport without expecting monetary returns. You give advice, lessons, and drills to people you will maybe never meet because you do it on these forums for free. I hope you know that there are people out there that thank you for your contribution to the sport.

Thank you.

Barbara

For a guy who defended George Fels' Constitutional rights of free speech when he used the term "JAP" in reference to Japanese to me in a post on the Billiards Digest forum you sure sound hypocritical. Figures.

Putting both individual personalities and private histories aside, the public display of division, infighting and conflicting agendas among some of the notable figures in the pool world is what makes this industry "easy pickins" for people like KT. Not good.

I think I'll go to bed :D Based on the few PMs some thought it would be very offending, and I don't want that. The man who sleeps does not sin (or something like that).

Good night

I wonder how long until JAM decides to take yet another one of her self-imposed hiatuses from the forum, to get away from all the sucker punching monkeys.

Another good analysis. Short, sweet and to the point. Not inaccurate either.

no longer applies. sorry.

Maybe you should edit your post as well, as now it is the only post that shows the words which you think so many will find offensive.

Edit: I see you did so, as I was posting this.

Good night Rev. Sweet dreams. :)

Dream about the Open and the final match, Niels against Dennis. It's Hill-Hill and Niels is running out. He comes up short on the seven ball. Should he bank it or play safe? (to be continued)

The last time I posted on that forum was 2002. You're going to have to help me out here.

I will say however, when I told him he should delete it altogether, I was exercising my right to free speech.

I can honestly say that I haven't looked at this thread since my single post in it, nobody has informed me of any of the contents.

I've lost count of the number of times these threads have turned nasty because 1 or 2 trolls start attacking others and then cry victim.

We have already heard in this thread of pro players that have stopped because because of a troll, it's about time somebody did something about it enough is enough.

When I feel like it! Hope that reply is satisfying to your wonderment.

I remember you expressing your wonderment at another time about me on the thread when I was labeled a "racist." Tag team is fun, isn't it?
