Hehe, thanks for the suggestion, JAM. I'm sure Grady Seasons (?) would love that!
Hollywood should really give Keith his own movie, maybe a TCOM spin-off (Proposed TITLE:Changing Seasons) starring Keith's character and taking off right after he was beaten by that young upstart Tom Cruise played (what's his name again -- Vincent?) and really reevaluating his life as a pool player. He would seek out his old mentor whom he left behind years ago after he felt he (the old guy) couldn't teach him (Keith's character) anything new anymore. He'll find out that the guy is in an old folks' home and in danger of getting evicted because he doesn't have any family left and the only person he's really considered family was Keith's character so Keith goes off to raise money for the old guy the only way he knows how, and he finds he's more successful at it because this time he's not just playing for himself anymore. So after he wins the world championship (IPT no less! hehe

) he has enough money to bail the guy out and take him under his wing, so to speak,
and when he asks his mentor for more lessons the old guy says "I think
you've learned enough" and then he dies.
It's a first draft.
