Do you have a Pool Table in your home?

I have no pics....bought my 9 ft Gold Crown 1 in 1972. It was made in 65 or so. Its one of the old pool room commercial tables. Moved it from NY to Houston to California and back to NY...Where I go....it goes LOL

9' Brunswick Century table with "normal" pockets and brand new Simonis 860 cloth. Love that table...and love to have the room for it in the house.

We just moved to a place where it can be inside. Before, it was set up in the garage. Great for 2 months out of the year...the rest of the time, it was too hot or too cold.

Now, the only thing keeping me from playing on it all the time is that I'm away from home for work alot...and when I am home, I'm LAZY!!!.

I have a 9' Diamond Pro that's right inside the back door and within 5' of where I"m sitting right now. It's in the middle of a 28' x 18' family room on the back of the house.

We moved here ten yrs ago. My wife wanted to look at houses... I didn't want anything to do with moving. I was set where we were and I was in the process of getting some estimates on remodeling so I could have a 7' or 8' pool table.

We walked in the back door of this house into the family room and I just knew, from the shape of the roof outside, that above the dropped ceiling was going to be a cathederal ceiling.

As we were driving away from that first viewing there was a heavy silence in the car. Finally after a few minutes my wife said... "If I can have that house you can have that back room." The rest is history.

I got a 9' Brunswick "furniture" table which played ok but after I learned what was up I sold it and got the Diamond.

I play every day for about 1 to 2 hours. After that either my knee or my back suggests that I stop. :groucho:

I have an 8' all maple Brunswick Bradford that is in my basement. I play it 5-6 days a week, although I usually don't get a lot of time each day. I love the table, but I wish I had gone with a 9 footer.

9 foot kasson vermillion in the basement, 4 1/2'' pockets, simonis 860. it sees use every day. i only wish my game reflected it :(

9 foot Metro purchased from UPA tournament in Los Angeles . Tightened up pockets by Steve Listikow (TableMechanic on AZ). SIgned by John Schmidt and Corey Deuel.

Play approx. 4 hours a day.

You should do a poll.
That's a good question.

I would be curious to know the percentages of posters that have a table at home.
JoeyA (no table here, but I do have one of those aluminum racks)

Yes, 8 ft Olhausen with 1/2" tightened pockets! I'd say it's tough to play on but first I need to play on it...!

I just went downstairs & measured my pockets with 2 balls as you illustrated. My feeble runs now seem even more feeble.

New pool room in town !

Recently purchased a Crown III, in very good shape. Added A/C and new tile to my roomy garage. Put on new rubber and 860, plus an elaborate set of lights. The cars will have to survive in the driveway. Plan on having Jimmy M, Prince, Tres, and others over for fleecing. :D
Also, One Pocket lessons, Appt. only, $30,000 for complete course.(You won't understand the inside joke unless you are a 1P.org. fan.)
Will send pic's later.

I can't wait for my routine fleecings to begin. As if I don't already feel bad enough about my game in general after last weekend, what I really need now is to get beat to death playing one pocket for a while.

I was going to punish myself for my bad play by slamming my fingers in the door frame a few times but, alas, there is a one-pocket tournament this weekend so I'll just play in that instead!
