I can edit and rep on my android, I haven't tried to upload a photo.

Wait, I did too, cuz there is currently video of me shooting, badly, here and I took that with my phone, as well.

I bet there is a way to do all of that on the iPhone, as well. I do not use tapatalk.

How do you upload video directly from your Android?

That's interesting! I did not know that.

I can have full functionality on my iPad but using the iPhone format I loose significant functionality but the trade off is that it is easier to read.

Mostly mobile.

Android , either Galaxy Skyrocket or S3

No real difference, don't think there's anything I can't do or haven't done on either. Long posts are easier to deal with on a PC I guess do to full screen text editing , that's about it.

Why..... probably cause when I'm on the PC Im working and when I'm not working I'm likely to be on my phone.

I'm just curious about how AzBilliards Discussion Forum members are posting these days.

When you post on AzBilliards Discussion Forum, are you posting from a computer (desktop or laptop) or a mobile device? A mobile device is a cellphone, smartphone, iPad, iPhone, Android, BlackBerry, tablet, et cetera.

This is a blind poll, so lurkers can feel free to vote and not get outed. ;)

I guess what I am interested in is if members like to participate on this forum when they're not sitting in front of a computer. :p

I'm on the verge of buying a new mobile device. I wanted to download Barry White's ringtone on Keith's cell phone, and I can't do it unless I have texting capability. Needless to say, we don't have Internet access or texting capability on our cell phone.

If you are on a mobile device, would you please share which one you use, the benefits of it, navigation/ease of use, et cetera? TIA to any and all responders to this poll.

Hi Jam, computer at all times for me, i barely know how to operate that, i dont like all this new tech stuff, i miss the old days, 70s and 80s!

Hee-hee! Yep, you're right! I cannot tell a lie!

When Mickey goes to sleep, we all tiptoe around, not wanting to wake him up. It's just like having a baby. I was trying to snap this one, and I got the evil eye from Keith, as if to say, "Don't make any noise. Can't you see he's sleeping now?" :p

Thats awesom a living legend, sleeping on the couch with the dog!Thats me every nite, but iam no legend yet, and the future is not looking very good for me either!

I uploaded it to YouTube, and then linked to it here.

My phone has a function to let you send things via email, message, YouTube, twitter and god knows what other methods.

I use my Samsung Infuse 4G for 100% of my internet needs. On this site I don't use an app or anything from the android market. I can edit a post, add rep, and sometimes add pics to a post. Most of the time I can't add pics. It acts funny when I try and it will let me download them from my gallery or camera. The app would let me do this though.

I've never seen this site from a desktop or laptop, so I dont know if I'm missing anything. I don't think I am though. The 4.5" screen is nice too, along with the 4G. I just looked at the forums in my wife's Iphone and I couldn't make some of the words out. I guess I'm spoiled with the superameloid screen on my phone.

I use both. I have a Razor Maxx and use Tapatalk only when I have to. I prefer my Laptop over a phone any day.

My phone is pretty basic; all I need it for away from home is to place a call. Here at home I don't get cell reception so computer it is.

Hi, Richie! I hope you take care. In the autumn of my life, I'm not trying to figure out a way to retire. I don't want to work like a mule anymore. I really want to travel across the country via a car. When Keith and I drove to Vegas, it was one of the best road trips of my life. I hated Vegas, but I loved the drive to and from, seeing American in all its glory.

I wanted to go to South Dakota to visit Chad of TAR someday. We spoke quite a few times on the phone, and I shared a few secrets with him about me. He was so warm and friendly, but this young man passed away suddenly earlier this year. It was devastating. I wanted to see him in person and share a few laughs.

One never knows when it's our time to go to God's celestial shores. You make your own heaven and hell right here on earth, and I'm trying to live in heaven as much as I can now. Life is too doggone short!

You be good to yourself and enjoy life to the fullest!

I thought for sure this poll would go the other way. I figured most people posted on AzBilliards via their mobile device, but I was wrong. :o

Both

I imagine that the vast majority of anyone with a mobile device and a computer use both

I know I do

I'm behind the times. I'm an only-computer kind of gal. :embarrassed2:

I am thinking about going mobile, but, man, I sure as heck don't want to incur a new monthy bill. I'm paying about 85 bucks a month on my cell phone (AT&T) for unlimited long distance, no texting and no apps. Just voice. :frown:

My cable bill is about $220 a month for high-speed Internet, TV cable (HBO, sports package, and Stars), and phone line for one of my three landline phones.

I do have four phone numbers. I probably could get rid of one of them. :D

when I'm away from the keyboard and want to post, I use a tablet. You can do it on the phone, they've come a long way with the voice-to-text software if you don't mind talking in public like a loon.

Jam, your plan sounds a little pricey, especially for the phone. But maybe you make lots of phone calls. I make hardly any and do unlimited data/text but limited voice. Works out to about the same as yours. I talk on it maybe ten minutes a month.

Jam,
Boost mobile has everything for $50.00 a month. Unlimited everything. Text, web, talk. Plus your payment goes down $5.00 a month every 6 months that you make the payment on time until it gets to $35.00. I pay $35.00 a month now. They are owned by Sprint. Very good service. I have been with them for 5-6 years now. No contract either. Thanks Jam.
Many Regards,
Lock N load.

I guess I will have to reevaluate my plan. I have AT&T, unlimited calls. My cellphone is actually Keith's main phone line to his buddies, and he's on it 24/7 sometimes. The unlimited calls made sense. But we have no texting or Internet. Many moons ago, when we first got the plan, texting was going to bump it up to over $100 with taxes and extra charges.

When I'm away from the computer and home, I really do *not* want to be "connected." I enjoy my freedom being unconnected, even if it's something as simple as going to the grocery store. That's like a vacation to me, just going to the grocery store, getting away from the computer, the phone, work. :o

Hey, thanks. I am going to check into that. Every little bit helps.

I'm trying to downsize my monthly expenditures now. I am seriously on the verge of retiring, selling my home, and moving.

I was considering Vegas, because of Keith, but I don't think I could get used to looking out my window and seeing this 24/7: Vegas terrain.

I like trees and flowers and bushes and GREEN. I like the change of seasons. I love the autumn foliage, snow, spring flowers, and a blue sky with clouds in the summertime.
