It has been known for years that speed and spin effect given CTE banking angles.

I call it like it is....check my website for my objectivity statement. I do not have to resort to false superlatives for expressing the effectiveness of CTE.

I qualified the question after your first reply with the words , 'at it's core'.

You've refused & still refuse to say Yes or No.

The tens of thousands here in the silent majority can make their own determinations as to what that indicates or if 'I take the cake' or simply asked a simple question that you, the author of CTE, will not answer with a simple Yes or No.

Best Wishes.

Seems like a legitimate answer to me.
Vocal majority says yes "you take the cake"

PS now go get some milk and have a nice night.

Even though Stan will NOT affirm here on AZB that CTE's core nature is totally or complete objective in it's nature....

anyone that wants to or is considering buying & trying CTE / Pro1 should still do so, just knowing & keeping the above in mind.

Best Wishes to ALL.

I hope the mods are monitoring this line of communication that you are hounding me about, especially since I have already answered any and all concerns about the fact that CTE PRO ONE is an objective system.

That was simply a statement saying that if one wishes to try CTE they should STILL do so. That is not 'hounding' you & was not directed to you or at you. Also it was you that initiated the contact with me.

As I said earlier in this thread, this is what one gets from you whenever one does not totally & completetly agree with you.

However, I thank you for the closing phrase of your sentence, stating in your own words that "CTE PRO ONE is an objective system.".

Could you be so kind as to qualify whether or not in your opinion it's core nature is completely objective or does it also rely on one's individual subjectivity when it comes to arriving at the appropriate shot line?

Thanks in advance.

Badgering Stan like this is a little overboard, IMO.

Actually Neil, I am one of the silent majority that has English! on ignore.

If it wasn't for quoted replies I would not see any his games.

You make unsubstantiated claims, are asked to verify them, you refuse to answer them. Instead of answering, you twist it and ask questions of those asking you to clarify. Then, when you don't get the exact answer you demand, you make silly accusations.

Yes, tens of thousands, and multitudes upon multitudes, know that you take the cake.

Dan,

So... how does one do as you say based on a true objective visual with no subjectivity & why would one to do so if one is already on the shot line?

It seems as though you are trying to explain what CTE/Stan would says & not looking at it from outside looking in on an objective basis.

That seems to be what StraightPool is doing too.

Best 2 Ya.

Yes, in this case I'm merely trying to reiterate the procedure that the CTE Pro1 system would have you do, not the "why."

That's rather 'funny' coming from you.

But could you please reread what you quoted of me & point out what part is 'badgering'.

I'm simply advising anyone that wishes to try CTE to still do so but to just keep in mind that he would not affirm CTE to be a completely objective system when asked to do so, one way or the other. AND it was NOT directed to or at Stan.

It's rather obvious for what you're 'lobbying'.

It rather amazes me how some seem to take the many thousands here on AZB to be unintelligent. Very very many if not most individuals can tell when someone is being genuine or not or whether one has an ulterior motive, especially when they have seen the history of that individual.

Might it be that you really do not want any sort of resolution to this issue.

Stan has now provided a statement for which I have now simply asked to be qualified.

Depending on whether he does so or not & how he does, if so, might put all of this hub bub to bed, to rest, & to sleep.

It's badgering, because everyone and their mother knows what you're doing. I know, I know, how can we know what you're thinking? News flash, slick. You ain't that clever.

What exactly is it that you think I am doing or trying to do, 'Slim'.

Congratulation on that accomplishment. I hope it is long lastingly permanent. I have two nephews that have Yo Yoed for almost all of their lives. I sincerely hope that it lasts for you.

............Who the F are you to advise anyone on anything related to pool? QUOTE]

No worries, English will be posting his extensive playing and teaching credentials shortly. I've asked him before but I'm sure it just slipped his mind. Or, maybe his resume is 20 pages long and he's having a hard time down loading it to AZB ;)

The last few pages are just beautiful.

It's like I was sent back in time to when I was just starting out and I would lurk on RSB. I would think what are all these guys going on about.

Here we are twenty years later and I still really have no idea even though every once in a while I pretend like I know what's going on.

Love it.

Can't wait till my new 14.4 modem arrives.

E- what did you think about the movie Focus? Awesome huh!?

Biebs- Joe Riggs started his career at over 300 lbs. and later fought at 170. Make your eatinga new way of life.

Stan- "getcha some" Bill Stroud said show me.

Tony, I had the jerk on ignore myself, but had the same problem avoiding his tripe. We should all (the silent majority that wants him to go away forever) just ignore him and stop engaging him. That's what he craves, all the animosity he generates.

I have him on mental ignore now. I just don't read anything he writes (I do look at his pretty ladies, though) and I don't read posts that respond to his drivel. Why would I care to argue his ridiculous assertions? I used to work with thoroughbreds and I've heard more sense coming out of the back end of a horse than anything that issues from his whacked out keyboard.

BTW Rick, please... no more PM's. You should know by now I refuse to answer them.

I'm going to accept JBs' offer to shoot shots at $1000 per shot with Stan at the Diamond Tournament. Table to be decided at random. Format to be decided.

I don't care what shot. They are all the same to me.

The only proviso I have is that we shoot at least 100 shots.

Who wouldn't want to shoot against a 74 year old.

Let's see if CTE really can stand up to some pressure?

Bill S.

As long as it's streamed live I will bet $20,000. You and Stan can figure out the format and the rules.

Stan got 9-17th place in the US Open one year recently iirc. (At Large will correct me) I think he can hold up just fine.

When you're done with the shot making making contest if we come out winner we will bet it all playing you an all around one pocket, straight pool, and ten ball.

You're playing the best pool of your life and so is Stan. At least you're braver than Lou is.
