I just check sureman183 is on line, so I hope this is resolved before all the fireworks start.

This can't be good . Hope everything works out

No Matt, it's not good. But I want to work with him on a solution so we can both be satisfied. I will not go into the details at this time but I promise I will not let this rest as it is.

Thanks for the well wishes...

so far very nice....i hope it gets resolved before it gets ugly

Chris, Having dealt with you in the past...all I can say is your rep is golden and hope this works out for you...You are definitely one of the good guys

Hey

Chris, We all hope that this gets worked out. you are being overly fair in giving Don, a chance to make this deal right. Ignoring you isn't going to change the fact that you were mislead on a cue.

.

I've also found Don Sherman to be a stand-up handshake deal kinda guy.

Chris I see you say PMs and eMails unanswered, maybe this is a stupid question, but have you called Don (I ask because I know he prefers the phone)?

Thanks

Kevin

Good question Kevin.

The last conversation I had with Don was on 7/4/2012. His wife got on the phone and said the deal was done and to not call Don again.

I have sent several emails , two messages on his page and 3 pm's. He has read 2 of them.

As soon as I get out of work, I will try calling again.

Either way, I have all of the email communication as proof of our agreement.

Well as I said Don was on line last PM about the time you posted this thread, I hope you two get your situation worked out, and in the end both parties are still friends!

I wouldn't like that one bit had I been the one being told not to call. I don't know the details and really guess I'd rather not, but a deal isn't done until both parties are satisfied.

Thanks

Kevin

Thanks Coco, but all I want is what Don said he was going to do. No more, no less. There is a significant amount of cash on the table. I've lost big money on a Black Boar a few years ago. That's not happening again. I will use all of my resources to make this right.

I'm not looking for friends, just what Don committed to. The situation is not what I wanted. And I will most likely never buy another used cue in my lifetime. That's a shame but this is the second time I've been in this situation.

If Don refuses to communicate with me I will have no choice to provide facts in this thread.

I'm never one to egg one of these things on and I think people resort to airing their problem deals in this forum far too soon in many cases.

But, if I called looking for satisfaction and was told not to call and my electronic messages were shrugged this long, I'd feel very justified in looking to bring peer pressure to bear. I mean really, what else can you do (in my case I'd have recourse and I would have stopped my PayPal payment at the "don't call", but I imagine that remedy is not available here)?

I noticed his sig when it was at 10 days. If I noticed it, you would of thought that the problem being almost aired public that way, it would of been resolved by now.

At this point you have messages, two confirmed and one unconfirmed, that are being read by sureman183. I think that if he is avoiding the situation, then it needs to be made public.

Yeah good point, I am going to start using paypal at restaurants in case I dont like my steak I can just "dispute" the charges:eek:

Seriously, in the real cue world a handful of people still use CASH...Weird huh?

I'm not looking to start a $hitstorm. I just want closure on our agreement. If is was a small cue it wouldn't be so bad. The original cue was a Gus Szamboti. It's a lot of money for a pool cue. For me anyway.
