Dragon Pool Coaching Coming to Your Town June /July

Jon...Just curious how you would know this, since you've never met me or played against me (no offense). But then again, what is the definition of a "great" player? If it's only applied to tournament champions then that might be accurate (although my best finish in a national event was 3rd). If your opinion is based on a single silly game of 8 ball, played in the middle of the night 10 years while all of us were intoxicated (which I did win, btw)...then that may be a bit biased. Nonetheless, if someone makes a decision whether to take lessons, based on that video, I feel sorry for them...they're missing a great experience.

Scott's not a great player (no offense, Scott),

This is Silly, All of these players were great players before they ever heard CW name. Hell I could go and tell Allison or any of the others "I think if you held your cue like this then you would play better" So now they don't change a thing and ignor your advise and move on to win a major title. Did they win because of me??? HELL NO. But I can say I coached them and that would be true. Unreal.

Not familiar with the video you're referring to. The only one I've seen is one on YT where you played some guy a game of 9ball, and didn't look that good. But I won't judge your level of play based on one video. Instead I make my judgement on never seeing your name at the top of any big tournaments, or hearing about you matching up with a well known player and winning.

When I think of a great player, I think of people like Shane, Thorsten, Efren, Bustamante, Earl, Archer, Corey, Alex, Justin Hall, Schmidt, Buddy, CJ, Eberle, Lombardo, Bergman, Woodward, Barton, Biado, and many others.

Don't confuse me saying you're not a great player with me saying you suck. I know you don't, and that's why I said I'd bet on you if you ever played Shanelle, because unlike you, she does suck at pool.

Well, let's talk reality.

Ok, lets talk reality. The reality is that your post was intended solely to bash a business competitor in your competitors own thread.

You claim Charlie is a crappy coach because Shanelle can't run more than 3 balls. The reality is that you have former students that can't run more than 2 balls and that even Shanelle could beat easily. What does that say about you? Based on your logic it obviously means that you are a crappy coach, even crappier than Charlie.

To support what a great coach you are and how you are better than Charlie you offer the fact that some of your former students have placed high in state and national amateur events. Meanwhile Charlie has coached world champions in the professional ranks.

You state that you are a pretty decent player, and have placed high in amateur events. Charlie has won professional events.

You say you could coach Shanelle better. You say this only because you are trying to make a name for yourself, not because there is any evidence to support it, because there isn't. In fact the evidence you have tried to offer actually supports that you would not even do as good a job as Charlie did. If she had worked with you she probably wouldn't be able to run even 2 balls instead of the 3 she can run now.

Your claims were dumb. Silly. Baseless. Lacking any evidence whatsoever. In fact, every single piece of "evidence" you offered had Charlie surpassing you on it. Newsflash--if you want to present "evidence" and credentials to help establish that you are better than a competitor, first make sure your evidence and credentials are better than the competitors and don't actually make him look better than you...lol. But even if you were right and you could do a better job (you couldn't), it doesn't change the fact that you have no class whatsoever, and that is the real issue. You don't go into your competitors thread where they are offering their services and just start bashing them for no reason and without any merit. Why anybody would want to get any coaching from you, when there are so many other quality instructors out there that actually do have a little bit of class, is beyond me.

Well one thing Charlie could teach is how to stall, he's the slowest player on the planet.

Well, you did accomplish one thing- you made it abundantly clear that you have no clue what you are talking about, nor have any clue about quality instruction or what makes one a qualified instructor. Just the fact that you called CW a "competitor" shows that. Or, that you know anything about "class" whatsoever. Some of you guys are so star-struck that you couldn't see reality if it hit you up the side of the head. If you put one iota of credence in that B.S. C.W. posted, you are hopeless.

CW has a lot of time on his hands lately. Did everyone catch on to him. When was the last tournament he put on or played in one. Yep, that good old boy organization worked out well for all. LMAO. Johnnyt

I feel like everyone is right.

What CW posted has a lot of BS in it.

What SL posted has a lot of BS in it and was low class.

What PP9 posted is totally accurate but probably doesn't matter because we're talking about CW here so any negative slam, valid or not, of any class level should probably be permitted :P

What Neil posted about CW's posts lacking credence and full of BS is right.

What I just posted, this very sentence you are reading now, is hopefully not riddled with errors.

That is all.

Well, you did accomplish one thing-you made it abundantly clear that you don't even begin to know how to comprehend what you read. I am not a Charlie fan. I don't think any of those facts and credentials listed mean much of anything about how good a coach someone is, and if you could read and comprehend you would have seen where I said that several times. But Scott Lee obviously does think those things are important and that they are evidence of coaching quality because he brought them up as evidence to show that he was a better coach. I pointed out that it was stupid for Scott to think those things proved anything. I also pointed out that Charlie actually outclassed Scott in all of the things that he brought up anyway so it made him look even more stupid.

And that was on top of how classless he looked coming into a competitor's thread to bash them for no reason. And since you obviously don't know what the word competitor means, it is defined by Merriam-Webster as "one selling or buying goods or services in the same market as another". If you don't think Charlie is Scott's competitor with this coaching tour as you said above then you obviously have about as much sense as Scott does, which isn't much. Lol.

Like I said, if you really think they are competitors, you don't have a clue. But, go right ahead with your classless post about one of the best real instructors in the country, namely Scott Lee, when you don't have a leg to stand on.

Like I said, if you don't think they are competitors, then go ahead and remain clueless if you want. My post wasn't classless, it was just a factual one pointing out where Scott Lee was being classless, which he does often. Even if he is a good instructor, as I already said, why on earth would anybody want to deal with such a classless individual when there are so many other good instructors all over the nation and who travel the nation that are not so classless? There is no reason to, that is the answer. If Scott was any good as an instructor and had any confidence that the quality of his coaching could speak for itself then he wouldn't have the need to go into other instructors threads to try to bash them. He would just let his own work speak for itself. In more ways than one it is pretty telling that he can't do that.

I was thinking the same thing. It seems to me that whenever the truth is spoken about certain people and their actions it rubs people the wrong way.

We all know Scott doesn't need to bash, or was his intent, other "instructors" to make a living. He seems to be doing just fine. How about we cut Charlie loose on the road giving lessons and see how long he lasts.

Scott, keep up the excellent work.

It never ceases to amaze me how some people like you can look up at the sky and swear that it is green with purple polka dots. Come back to reality. Go to Scott's first post in this thread and tell me what "truth he spoke about certain people and their actions that rubbed people the wrong way".

Here are the only truths I see from his first post:
A. Scott showed how classless he was by going into a competitors thread and bashing them for no reason.
B. Scott is not a good instructor, or at least doesn't have any confidence in his abilities, because he is always trying to bash other instructors instead of letting his own work speak for itself.
C. Scott said something ludicrously and insanely stupid and untrue when he claimed that you aren't a good instructor if one of your students can't run more than three balls. It was even more stupid of him to say considering that he himself has students that can't run three balls, and that Shanelle could even give weight to and still beat.

Those are the reasons people were rubbed the wrong way. Being completely classless and clueless will understandably get that reaction from people, what do you expect? It is amazing how blindly dumb bias can make some people sometimes. But go ahead Allen, tell me what "truth you feel Scott spoke about certain people and their actions" in his first post in this thread "that rubbed people the wrong way". Boy I can't wait to hear this one and all the truths that you will be finding in that first post there. Let's hear it.

Good luck finding any player that's played competitive pool for a minimum of 1 year that Shanelle could give weight to and win.

Whether she plays tournaments or not is immaterial to the point. I guarantee Scott has had students that Shanelle can give a spot to and beat. I'm not saying Shanelle is a great player. Far from it. I'm simply saying how stupid Scott's comment was particularly considering he also has had students that still can't run three balls after instruction from him. It was just a dumb statement from Scott on so many different levels.

Boy, that brings back some memories. Purple Micro Dot will do that to ya every time.

I probably was the only person alive that saw the Monster from the Black Lagoon in my bed room.
