Earl/Shane score

Earl's firepower is at such a high level!!! 4/18th" pockets and he treats them like they were 5".

So much skill, so tragic that he is "touched" by demons.

Well said Glen, As you progress in this sport you either learn to tune the bs out or get your lunch ate. The bes
t players can have a car drive into the building during their shot and never hear it. Their concentration is that focused... I play a very famous player one pocket on a regular basis. The more i beat him the more he talks and whines. Even for ten bucks a game...lol It great sharking practice for me...
I find it funny myself and use a little reverse sharking. The other day he even walked over to the table and bent down in front of my shot to make sure i heard him... I simply stood up off the shot and said "were you talking to me Buddy?" It frustrated him so badly that he quit soon after. He also has the most famous sharking story ever and is very proud of it.
Shane has the physical ability to tune others out completely, some people believe thats a big part of what makes him a great player

How famous was he and why didnt he just tune you out?I have seen some great players come unglued over the simplest of things.A guys takes a drink of his beer rite in line of a player while he was shooting and he misses. The guy didnt know he bothered the player and the player looked like he was going strangle the guy.Where all you human and not all great players have that ability to just shut everything else out.;)

"touched" by demons....or playing against the Devil himself in disguise:rotflmao1:

Dry Break Earl has a shot on the one - he POUNDS it in to force shape gets fantastic shape on the two EXCEPT that the cueball drifts just a touch too far and hooks him. He almost kicks the two in but leaves Shane a shot.

Shane stuck on the rail looking at the 3. tough to get to the four. He tries to force it and knocks the three ball off the table.

Earl one-strokes the rest of the balls, talking the whole time.

That's the difference between a past GREAT player, and a current GREAT:cool:

Earl makes a ball, got a shot at the one and straight up dogs it into the rail. Shane looking at a mildly sharp cut - makes it, gets shape but on the rail, no problem. 3 in the side brings the cue ball down one rail for shape on the four, the fat lady is warming up.......

Shane rattles the six but it drops.

It's over.

....He's as famous as it gets...Look at my post a little more closely... He's also a friend and i didn't want to make it too obvious who it was..I thought the point i was making was obvious... sorry Not trying to be a wise guy here.. He quit because he was losing, because i was playing better and he was very surprised his sharking tactic also wasn't working. Loose Loose situation for him.. my point also about shane being able to tune all the distractions out is a very well known fact and i believe everybody believes it helps his concentration.

Shane says wanna play again and "I gave you everything you wanted". Earl going off. Says Shane cheated him with the rack, says Shane broke too soft, Earl making excuse after excuse.

hmmm...can you just imagine how hurt Earl must feel right about now, if a dog was hurt that bad, would you really stick your hand out to pet it right about now?

Shane's the MAN! And Earl showed us that he is indeed a very sick man. I can feel only pity for him right now. I would hope that he somehow gets the help he so desperately needs.
