Hopefully they will get Grady or one of those guys to commentate the next one.
Earls misses and the crowd applauds.......not cool. Shane has to play safe.
It looks like Shane is getting a little more comfortable. Just as I write that he bumps into a ball he shouldn't have. Bailed himself out by playing the 7-9 combo and got out.

If I tell people I "Stayed up until 1 or 2 in the morning watching watching pay per view videos on the internet" I'm sure I will raise a few eye brows.

In all honesty anything from the crowd should not be allowed especially something that could tilt a player. I call BS for who ever is supposed to be running this show on not telling the crowd BS like that is not allowed.
I can clearly see why Earl acts the way he does at times.

Jay, you are a special case and you don't have any excuse. I'll get back to you later on some things. What Earl said was ill mannered, discourteous and rude. Some might call it malicious as well. I can see where John would have gotten quite upset. I would have too. Shane has overcome a major hurdle in his life to get where he is today, and too discount that with nasty remarks is pretty damn low in my book. Let Earl walk a day in Shane's shoes and see how he likes it. I'm not giving him the benefit of the doubt on this one. You can if you like.
As for Shane being allowed to play with his hearing aid in hie ear, I see absolutely nothing wrong with that. And if you do, then I say that you have a problem. Shane is a special case, as are most handicapped people. And exceptions are made for them throughout society. Maybe you just haven't been paying attention. Kind of like Earl in that respect.
Zoned out for the beginning of that rack. Earl woke me up when he bumped the 8 into the 6 screwing up his run out. Had to play safe. The 137" cue came in handy on that shot. As a matter of fact, I have yet to see either player break out the bridge.
Safeties back and forth. This match is not for the faint of heart. Lots of safeties.
Shane plays my favorite shot. With the cue ball in the middle of one end rail and the object ball on the opposite end rail out a 16" or so, he tries to play safe an runs the cue ball straight into the corner pocket.
Earl runs out.

I'm fading.
I think Earl broke that rack, exchanged a few safeties, then ran out.
I know he won the rack.
