Early 70's Joss Cue with ivory!

The person who I bought this cue from informed me that it was built in 1968 when Dan and Bill were together. I have a letter of authenticity from Dan Janes that it was early 70's-78 which is also included in the sale. There is no JOSS logo on the bottom of the butt cap, since this was when they were together at the time. I had it refinished from Dan 12/09 and kept the wrap original. This was the most popular cue style evermade by Joss Cues. The wrap is Cortland line Irish Linin and the points are sharp ebony outlined pale green. The rear is ebony as are the center of each point. The shafts are made of Araina Blanco. There are two shafts with ivory ferrules. The joint is elephant ivory. This is truely a great hitting cue.

Price $1950 (paypal additional 3%) or I would consider trading up (Joss, Gina, Tad, Szamboti, etc).

I will post more detailed pictures later this weekend.

I saw and held this cue after the refinish. It is spectacular and feels great! Good luck with your sale. Someone is going to be happy, wish it was me.

Off to eBay if I don't get any offers here. I have no problem keeping this cue as my playing cue if it doesn't sell there as well

YOU WANT MORE THEN THAT....small people quit after our best offers.....nite all

lol...too funny. Like I said I am not hurting for money. Check on eBay they sell for more...this has ivory joint & ivory ferrules (w/two original shafts).

If you want buy the cue from me for $1950, then I will flip you for $800. If you win you got the cue for $1150, if not...I will get $2750 for the cue!

Araina Blanco

I know that your LOA and your description denotes "Araina Blanco", but I cannot find what species this is, any clarification?

Good luck on your sale. But, if you get your opening bid I will be very surprised. It is a tough market.

I know...I am borderline of selling this cue. I don't play much if at all, but if it sells for the minimum I would be happy. If it doesn't sell .... I would still be happy. Either way I will have $1500 or my Joss cue...both options are fine with me. I like this cue, but don't have much time to play pool nowadays. Either playing poker or ping pong.

I previously posted that I would trade it (+cash) for a higher end cue, but got zero replies. So it went off to eBay! If you have a high end cue shoot me an email. Thanks for your replies...

Yeah you are correct it is a tough market! I just checked on eBay with this cue...there are 64 watchers! Now if any of them can pull the trigger...lol :))

I am interested in bidding, but have to get something straight first. If you do not get close to your original asking price, will you then close the auction with out selling? your previous posts allude to that fact.
