To me the veneers are poor quality.

thats normal considering the age of the cue, that was "good" work back then. got to keep that in perspective, any cue maker now would chop it up, because they have taken cues to a whole new standard of precision. Funny thing is who's playing any better than they did back in the day? with poor quality veneers(i dont disagree with you on that considering todays cues).

ok i'm done, i think this is a great thread, its learning about a cue, forget the sale of it. I think to some extent we all come here to share ideas, learn, kill time, talk trash, pick fights, laugh, etc. Its clear this thread turned into a pretty good thread to learn on, and would be better if I had my Tad collection for reference(not bragging) I just have lots of Tads from different era's and could provide some input based on what I could see on mine.
