Ok Jeff after all I have done for you now you turn on me keeping my money and refusing me a refund on the piece of junk you made for me ... After I gave you the money to refund Remy to keep your name clean ... Bought you alot of nice looking wood and quality tips and tried to get you to use qualtiy material and shafts in your cues instead of the junk shafts and wood you buy and try to turn down to get the rolls out of it ... Stuff at least one other cue maker we both know would of thrown away ... I've gone to bat for you over and over but not no more your on your own ... I will not get burned by you anymore ... You don't stand behind your product you can't you dont have the funds too... That is why you use the cheapest stuff you can buy to make cues with like the fiberglass ferrells your pushing now that you get for 50 cents a foot .. Or the bad shafts That is why they roll out or fall apart ... You and I are done and through and without me there to buy good wood for you and quality tips and stuff and give you cash to help bail you out of your troubles you are going to be in for some rough times ... Good Luck and God bless anymore of us fools that put our trust in you ... Just putting my name out there with yours is a downer ...
 
I won a cue of his in a raffle, has a ton of issues with it but nothing that hasnt been said about his others cues so Ill leave it that it is basically unplayable. I contacted Jeff and he denies it left his shop like that, and says he will fix it up if I send it to him. I think Ill just save the shipping charges as I dont think it will be any better when(or even if) I get it back based on this thread. If anybody wants a J/B cue for cheap let me know.

I dont know what has happen to get you in this mood to go off on 2 are 3 cue makers.! has already given you a refund and It looks like your have money problem,if thats the case as I told you I will give you a refund because of what I thought was a friendship we had.Your refund will here by Wed.of next week- what you owe me for other work done and wood use of mine. You are not the firt to have that JB and I dont know what the people b4 you did with are to it but as I told you I will fix anything wrong with it for free.I cant help it wasnt like it was when it left me. If you had got it from me it would have been new. If you want it taken care of just let me know,as I told you b4.Thanks Jeff Eason
 
Jeff the only money problems I had was trying to keep you afloat ... I should of got the clue when I saw you scanning your caller Id to sort out customer complaints and ignore them or avoid the bill collectors ... I just bought a Sly off here last night for 670.00 and I have bought several other cues ... The difference between you and I is I'm telling the truth and as long as it is the truth thier is nothing you can do about it you on the other hand as this thead points out tell lie after lie ... Truth of the matter is I gave several new cue makers a chance to make me cues ...And severald of them did a good job like Doug Patrick , Joe Baker and BHQ ...Some of them took over a year but they stood behind thier work or thier word and issued a refund at least when I got tired of waiting on them ... You send me a bill for all kinds of nonsense in a email telling me all the reasons you are going to keep the warped cue and my money too... I should consider myself lucky though ... You just took our friends Andres money and kept it without any remorse or even a thank you ...

I hope you get so much negative rep that you turn red and everyone sees what kind of person you really are and knows not to trust you ... With you it is always an excuse or a reason not to give out any money ... Most people just want a refund becuase you can't fix junk....

Burns if you are talking about the Purple Heart JB that he just raffled off I was standing there when he made it and you are the first one to get it no one else had it the guy got issues he cannot tell the truth for one ... He tried to sell it but it would not sell... So if that is the cue he is lying straight to your face ... I watched him put it together not long ago he made it on his front porch during the cold season he had alot of issues with that one and it would not take a finish at all of course he has alot of issues with telling the truth also... LOL..It was too dang cold to start with it was close to freezing that week ... And he told me he put it up for raffle cause it would not sell... I'm encouraging a bad rep campiegn so that he cannot do this to anyone else ever again ... I got my plane zeroing in for the first run ...

This man (The King) has stuck his neck out for you in more than one occasion. The least you can do is refund him his money.......
Cue making seems to be a tough business and after reading Butch's posts I suggest you give it up.
Of course this is only my suggestion and you can still do what you want but I will personally never buy another cue from you ever again Sir.

Best of luck to you and do the right thing please. I'm sure you do not want to be another Eddie Wheat.

Well that is the truth no telling how many times I stuck my neck out for you and bailed you out ... Remember the time you left Sly hanging and almost cost him eveything he had ... He trusted us to get a job done and you walked out on him and left him hanging not caring if he lost everything he had ..I called my son up and one of his friends to help Sly and his wife get the job done in time and get back home ... In the end everyone you seem to come in contact with comes up on the short end , Thats the difference between you and I ... I care about people and try to help them when I can at least till I feel they are taking advantage of me ... You care about no one but yourself... I have not known you to refund a single person with your own money it was always some one like me that felt sorry for you and your family that put thier necks out to help you and get it chopped off ...It was no wonder I was your best friend I was your only friend your not even liked here in our town ... i had a eason sp that i got on ebay.....it was cheap so i tried it....it really was not too bad....just kinda felt cheap and didnt play the best...i sold it on ebay and broke even....the guy who bougth it contacted jeff about a new shaft.he said jeff was easy to work with but i dont know if he got the shaft and if it was ok....i got positive feedback on ebay so i guess the guy liked the cue.ive had other cuemakers work when they were staring out and the cue i had looked almost like he was getting cuemakeing down....but i think some work would help.....i was a master machinest for 15 years and have been to joe golds shop in chicago,mike k shop in racine,south west cues in vegas,frank d.and murry tuckers,talked to jim buss about cue makeing many times...i think i know a good cue when i see/it play with it/ but im no expet at all on makeing cues....jeff sir i think you are close to makeing good cues...just make it right with these people...ive never know a craftsman who wounlt..just my two cents....

Its not the purpleheart. This is the cue I won:

Its too bad theres so many issues with it because I actually think its a nice looking cue from a few feet back with nice looking woods(aside from them being cracked). And when I can get it to screw together it does jump and break pretty well. I still say its unplayable because the poor finish is distracting when holding the cue, and it does not always screw together. If he used quality material and took his time, with more(or any) attention to detail his cues would probably be decent players.

The guy who I won it from, who got it from you said it was in that condition when he got it(heres a link saying he got it directly from you http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=123458&highlight=eason+maple), so I do believe it left your shop in that condition. I dont believe the cue is repairable to a standard I would accept. The wood has deep cracks in it and Im no expert but Id say it would have to be raplaced. Also, the part where the puddy/wood filler is used appears to be pretty deep(about a quarter inch). Local cue makers here tell me it cannot be saved with proper techniques, and anything done would just be band aid fixes.

I purchased a sneaky pete from Jeff Eason off Azb.. It's the worst cue I've ever played with.. The hand rubbed finish is bad, the joint isn't flushed, the ferrule is crap, the cue has a roll together and apart, and the hit is not to my liking or that of anyone who tried it.. I wouldn't even use it as a break cue because it gives my fingers abrasion..
