ebay fraud

Reported for you.....

If you look at the bottom of each auction, there is a link to the "security center". Follow that, and it will allow you to report it as a fake listing.

is a fraud. This is my cue and I have no plans to sell it. I don't know how to report it to eBay so any people that do I would appreciate it if you would report it for me.
I looked at that listing on ebay before I saw this thread and the cue looked familiar to me and I remembered seeing pictures of it on AZBilliards. Auctions by crooks like that are making it harder for the honest sellers to buy and sell on ebay.

Thats funny. Why do these scammers think that the stuff they use on these fake auctions are not avail to everyone else. What were they thinking stealing some pics of a public messageboard

I sent the guy a link to this thread. I figured I'd let him read up and give him a little more opportunity to get to know a little more about the cue he's trying to sell.
Caught red handed by our very own AZ Fraud Patrol!!

Zack, does it come with a matching jumper? LOL
I think the lesson learned here is, if you take hi-res pics of your cues, have your name somewhere in there.

Yeah, I just hate to put text over the cue though...lol.

I also finally found where to tell ebay about the fraudulent auction.

How does Paypal protect the buyer if it is a fraud?

How does the scam work? Does the seller pretend to ship it and then claims that it was lost?

I knew this cue looked familiar! Please note that this same seller recently 'sold' a vintage Gibson guitar that he did not deliver on. The minute I saw a 1 day auction I was leary...why sell at such a low price when the cue is worth obviously more!!
Still a nice cue Zeeder! Wonder when someone will try to sell mine?!

Dam! I saw this yesterday, almost bid on it, but then saw that the seller has never sold any other cues. (That doesn't mean fraud, but i wont buy cues from unknowns on Ebay).

HOWEVER, what did strike me strange was this statement: "I am switching to 60 inch cues per the suggestion of my instructor."

That is a BS reason for selling, which told me something was fishy.

I know, I saw it last night right after it listed. I thought to myself, "I've seen that cue before"...but being sick and on cold meds, well, the brain was a bit fuzzy...I didn't put two and two together. I thought it was kinda hinky after I checked his feedback this morning and saw the bit about the guitar. I feel kinda bad now 'cuz had the ol' brain been working, I could have notified Zeeder last night. Looks like he snagged the pics right from this forum. I am about done with eBay myself...just isn't worth it anymore.

I have sent eBay another email concerning this fraudulent listing. I explained that there is no way that there would be a duplicate cue. I explained who the rightful owner is, and that the pictures were taken from this site without permission of the owner. I pointed out that other emails have already been sent, and that time is running out to end this listing. I tried to make it sound as urgent as possible...hopefully it will work.
Got your back, Zack!

A new high bidder has entered the fray, is anyone going to wait until the auction ends and contact the high bidder?.

If the bidder doesn't believe you, just remind them that PayPal protection isn't offered on this auction as the sellers feedback is below 98%. Also remind them that ebay only offers $100 protection, so if they are going to get hosed, they stand to take a huge bath on this one.

I e-mailed the high bidder - Placidcue - but I know he's one of us. he wants that cue real bad too!
