Saw this by chance. The poolhall, if you can call it that, is pretty crude. Cement floor, cinder block walls, a tin roof, wood bench for seating etc. But a true poolplayer would appreciate a place like this. No loud music, no drunks, a pool table, a referee (referred to as a spotter in the PI), gambling, and not to mention a legend of the game.

nice video, i totally agree, thats the traditional pinoy billiardhall set up, where the elite came from..:thumbup:
 
thanks for sharing! I would kill to set in there and watch some guys play, pinoy guys are so talented man, and they are everywhere, even here in my country we have so many pinoy guys and all of them are talented, like in my poolhall at night it will be filled with pinoys and they shoot great, so many levels.

you can see in the video how the people are so comfortable sitting around, its nice.
 
Cigarette butts on the floor and there was a guy wiping sweat off his face, that room would never survive in the US...

I can imagine some poor snob walking in there thinking oh cool a pool table maybe i'll make some lunch money off some poor fool while i'm here, how good could they be i mean look at this place. Wrong!
 
Same cue

Thanks for the link. Very cool.

I think we have seen that same cue with the mismatched butt/shaft collars setup before. It must play good in all playing conditions.

Anyone know what brand of pool table that is? A local brand?

I was pretty sure it was Efren breaking until it looked like Efren racking.....:D The two guys that come into the picture on the far right at 2:30 are priceless.
