I can believe this, and looking more closely at the clip of Efren I can see that he didn't really hit the point but the rounded end of the rail as you say. That's a more forgiving target and one I could see aiming for (maybe someday when I get better).

Maybe this is just a semantic difference.

Wrong choice for a lot of people, I agree. Not the wrong choice for Efren because he can execute the shot.

I agree completely. He has a higher level of proficiency than (effectively) everyone.
