Just saw a video on the main page-an interview with Efren and info that hes using a new cue, anybody knows what cue is he talking about?

there is crazy misinformation regarding Efren's cues around here, has been for years, it's like a damn running joke that I'm half convinced he chuckles at constantly
Last I saw was a Pat Diveney titlist conversion.
Japan cues..
His main cue was made in Japan..probably Mezz..his break cue is
a Mezz Power Break..if this helps..

There has been lots of threads regarding this cue, is this the one in question. I also posted a thread about it after the Galveston tournament. I got to see the cue up close at the DCC and its quit nice.

geeze the guy is just asking about the cue. maybe he is genuinely an efren fan and wants to know what equipment his idol uses. maybe he is a cue enthusiast and just wonders what the great one uses.
doesnt always have to be the OP is asking because he probably thinks he will play the same way as efren if he uses the same cue....I mean come one..at this point, we've already established that "it's not the bow its the arrow etc...heart etc" lol

I was wondering what type of cue this was too. I noticed he was using it as well. Wasn't sure if it was still a Judd or if it was a Mezz. But it doesn't look like either of those. Looks like something very different than either of those. People are correct in saying that it is not his stick but the skill in the player that makes him amazing. But it is interesting to see what cuemakers the greats play with, at least in my opinion.

I think he uses a unicorn ferrule. Makes all the difference.
i hear he's got a contract with the company that made the cue that he showed in the youtube "what's in the case" video but i can say for sure that what he's using in that picture isn't a mezz
I don't know anything about Efrens cue, BUT......I would like to know how he goes about getting a new cue? Does he have a new idea and orders it? or is he mobbed at events with builders putting cues in his hands? or does he try a friends cue and then orders one?....sponsor?
