Email Received from CueComponents - Comments Referencing the 'idiot group'

I don't know much about the situation so take that with a grain of salt, but if this Board is meant to be the "idiot group", when is it smart business to alienate an entire market?

definitely dumb. I won't buy from these guys. If you have an issue with a person or group, just name them and get it out in the open. Don't do this chickenshít stuff where you take potshots at them without naming them and without giving anyone a chance to respond.

i don't think the email was a mistake. He references people that have ordered from him and being behind in the shipment or current orders. The email definitely went to the people he wanted it to.

And in business, you are only as good as your last transaction. I would not give anyone any leeway just because they have treated me so well in the past. If you have a wife or girlfriend that fvcked you like a porn star for 5 years but then you found out she was cheating on you - i guess that would be overlooked because of the prior 5 years of a smile that she put on your face

yes! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And where did he say AZ was the idiot group? I must have missed it.

LOL @ a certain provider of "cue components" having ivory ferrules that crack on a lathe when trying to be fitted on a shaft.

LOL @ people thinking they got in our heads (or @ least mine anyways). :)

Him and his company is a joke. I ordered a spliced blank and a couple pins from him which seemed like an easy order and he made up lie after lie when they didnt show up. I waited about a week after they were suppose to arrive before I called him and he said they were going out that day. A week later when nothing arrived I called again and he said " to be honest with you, your order has been setting on the shelf and ill get it out today ". Another week goes by and nothing so again I call and this time it's family trouble, someone sick or something and he said it would go out the next day and I said fine. Now it has been over a month and I was tired of talking to him so I send an email and said forget the order and refund my money and I was contacting the Better Business Bureau, the shipment arrived shortly after. I have never spoke with or ordered from him again but still get those dumba$$ email's from him. I advise anyone that thinks about dealing with them to request their order first before they send payment, maybe he will get the picture. I also think its funny how he put's those cues on Ebay and expects huge prices out of them. Back when it used to show the high bidder on an item, it was always private on his cues because he bid them up himself or had someone do it for him.

I don't know, Joe seems pretty smart to me. He includes a dig at AZB in his e-mails and month after month he gets free publicity on here. Five will get anyone that wants to bet ten if Joe isn't reading these threads and grinning the whole time!

If most of the customers were one time buyers Cue Components would have dried up and blown away a long time ago. So far he has sold me better wood at a cheaper price than anyone I have dealt with. He is the only one that corrected a mistake too, and then went far beyond correcting the mistake.

A few people I respect a great deal have posted into this thread and I do take the warning that they have had issues seriously. Unfortunately there is only a small group of cue component suppliers to deal with. Two of the most reputable have hung it in me and broken it off. So far I am doing better with Joe plus I get no BS information from him including about his own products.

You are the minority in my opinion. Butterflycues
