I received the following email today and thought it a little strange, to say the least:
Hello Friends...
Greetings from sunny Florida! It's a beautiful day here and I'm sure many of you
are experiencing warmer weather. The summer along with beaches, boating, fishing
and vacations are around the corner.
I need to stop here for a moment and explain something. I want to apologize to
many of you who ordered last month and experienced slow delivery. I really want
to express my sincere apologies as we were slammed. One day in particular, I did
not leave my desk as the phone rang off the hook; we got in almost 100 orders in
that one day alone. As such, we fell deeply behind with processing orders. If
you place an order, please be patient as we'll get to it in the order in which
is was received. We're constantly processing orders and filling them daily. In
fact, I've been working 7 days for 4 weeks now. In conclusion, I want thank all
of you for making me work. Business is good for us and more importantly, it's
good with you too. Keep up the good work guys and remember, there are plenty of
buyers out there. You need inventory as you can't sell from an empty cart.
And now, before I comment on the Valley Forge Show, I'd like to comment on the
'idiot group' because it takes so little to entertain me. These guys just don't
get it and that's why they are affectionately known as 'losers' on the 'idiot
group'. While we're all being successful and making money, they hide behind
their computers typing away with their drivel. I would love to name names but we
all know who we're taking about.
And now on to Valley Forge….
We heard that floor traffic was high and there were many collectors and players
looking to sell cues aside from the cue makers. I guess these people need to
raise cash more than they need their cue(s). This is normal for the current
economy. The weak money always shakes out first. Many of you experienced brisk
sales and did well. It's all about price and quality right now. If you have a
quality item, in limited supply, you'll sell cues. I emphasize extreme caution
when selling your cues to 'dealers'. Make sure you sell to strong money because
you don't want your cues dumped onto the market. I also heard that one cue maker
was displaying guitars. Now, what's that all about! I guess he's not doing well
with his cues.
Remember, you can't sell from an empty cart. Inventory, inventory, inventory!
In closing, before we get to this month's goodies…. We just want to once again
say a hearty, Thank you; thank you very much!
In closing we'd like to wish all of you the very best that life has to offer.
God Bless and Support Our Troops!!
Kind Regards,
Joe
