I would say she played about a C speed. In other words, it was an embarrassment.

It was... interesting to watch to say the least.
Yeah she still has a lot of work to do. She did spear in that 1 ball on one of the last racks. That was a great shot. The last rack she clearly could have shot the 7 in and followed the cue ball all the way down for the 8 but she drawed it instead, leaving herself a real tough shot on the 8, that she missed.
Anyway, watching it I felt bad for her. I can only imagine what the pressure is like playing in a foreign land and having it broadcasted. That would be pretty tough if you weren't used to it. I know I couldn't handle it.
I don't feel bad for Duddy. We all make choices. She made the choice to fly to Taiwan and compete against real pros, and the result is what we see. Of course there is going to be pressure, but no one forced her to enter.

Also, I wouldn't classify her as a C player based on that one short set. Yeah, she should have gotten out of a couple of those racks she had -especially with what looked to me to be rather large pockets. I'm sure she's more capable than that though or she wouldn't have spent the money on the trip.
The balls were sliding a lot too. I don't remember what name was on the cloth on the rails but I don't want it on my table.

I said she played at a C speed. It's possible that at her home room, under no pressure, she plays at a higher level.

I won't classify her as a C player based on that one set. But I will say that there were MORE than a handful of times where her shot selection was just horrible. Poor kicking. Poor safe game. And what was with that bank on the 6 ball?? Total mistake.
Again, I'm not saying she's a B player, a C player, etc.. I'm just saying that she is clearly outgunned in attempting to play on a world stage. Makes you wonder just how she got the invite, huh? :ignore:
