My lifelong friend Enzo passed away Friday morning (Feb 14).

Sadly about 5 weeks ago he hurt himself pushing a coffee table in his apartment and after a couple of days of pain a friend set him up with a doctors visit at the hospital and after numerous testing found cancer throughout his bones and lungs.

He was adamant about not staying in the hospital but they could not prescribe the pain meds he needed unless he was under hospice care so he was set up with them and was able to have a couple of items that made it more comfortable for him and visits a couple days a week by a nurse.

His was fine and at peace with it and handled it like everything else he did in life. Realistically and truthfully.

A lot of people on here knew him from the DCC driving folks back and forth from the airport for a few years there.

He was a mainstay from the infamous “Rack” in Detroit Michigan and well known by most all players and gamblers around the country.

😢

Sorry to hear about Enzo. I haven’t seen him in many years and was wondering about him over the years. RIP

Sorry to hear this, Steve. I took several trips with Enzo. Still have his number in my phone.

He was a 'Good Guy' at the Rack!

R.I.P. Enzo.
He did a lot of deliveries from Florida to Chicago during the 70’s & 80’s.

Black Sam told Harry Newman the yesterday and Harry was upset no one called him so he could call Enzo. Those two went way back also. Shit, Enzo was probably involved with more different people at the Rack and Detroit in general than anyone else I know of. He knew everyone.

He was one person that would drop everything if you needed anything and would drive 1500 miles at the drop of a hat if you were in a jam.

This one is tough for me. Thanks Bill

Steve, Harry is still around, Great to hear!

I'm not sure but I think Harry is around my age, (80).

Harry and Vinnie from Rochester used to come to Chicago once or twice a week for a High$ poker game we had at the 'Jewlers' building on Wabash.

Harry is full time in West Palm Beach now.

He's in the Right spot!

I wonder if He ever strolls into a PR.

He must be playing 'Gin' at some CC down there.
Yep. He’s got Sam going down to play somebody in a week. Sam wants me to come also but I’ve got way too much going on.

I’d love to but 🤷🏻‍♂️
