Ernesto wins Rum Runners in Vegas...

yep greg herada he plays a hardtimes, good for him and congrats to ernesto one of the nicest guys you will ever meet

...since nobody has posted anything yet:
Greg Harada (sp?) - second place
SVB - third

Our AZ poster " Barbor" was beat by Ernesto in the loosers bracket ? Semi finals and Barbor got fourth place.

In the winners bracket finals in a hill hill match harada beat shane van Boening.

Shane goes to the finals of the loosers bracket and looses to Ernesto.Hill hill match Shane scratches on the break and the rest is history.

Shane was placed third. Then Ernesto plays the winner of the winners bracket.

I could not brave the tobacco smoke and left the place without watching the finals. I later learned that Ernesto won the tournament.

I never saw anybody haunted by so much bad luck like shane. He made some good shots and scratched.hill hill game scratched on the break.Got bad positions. When the opponent missed the shots and shane comes to the table to find himself with no shot.Completely snookered. They were not two way shots. They were random lucky rolls for shane`s opponent.Don`t take me wrong Ernesto and greg harada played real good.

Congrats Ernesto!

I've always felt that Ernesto hasn't gotten the credit he deserves. For a man to work full time and play at championship level is much more difficult than most can imagine. Back in the mid 80's I saw Ernesto play a Canadian champ onehanded nineball at the "Last Call For Nine Ball" in Atlantic City. Ernesto won the first set playing "you can use the rail". The Canadian immediately woofed at Ernesto to play another set (IIRC 10K sets) "Jacked up" . The Canadian had jumped out of the frying pan into the fire. Ernesto spanked him handily running the last couple of racks "one-handed, jacked-up"! I don't think Ronnie Allen would have liked his end of it, that day!

Lil' Greg has been in stroke recently and will be definitely making a splash in the scene. I wont be surprised to see him taking down some major tournaments in the near future.. and congrats to Ernesto, and the rest of the Hard Times gang for reppin' the Southern California players!
