Why do some members here tend to be irrationally defensive or incredibly rude when they disagree with a post or product discussion?
I understand completely if you are being attacked personally, that being defensive is a necessary evil, but it's irrational when your opinion is just different.
Personally and professionally, I believe it to be incredibly rude to bash someone or their subject simply because you don't like it. For instance, you are selling blue squares and you are really excited about it, how would you feel if I replied to your post my hatred of not only blue squares, but both squares and the color blue. Then told everyone that my friend has yellow circles for sell at half the price of your squares and anyone who buys your stuff is an idiot?
This isn't about just my posts, I see it all over the forum.
If you don't like a topic, don't read/respond to it unless the OP specifically asks for good or negative thoughts. There's a sticky for not hijacking someone's thread or bashing their for sale products, but I doubt many have read the stickys.
I'm sure there will be plenty of grammar police, smart-alleck, and rude comments following this post, but I'm pretty sure most of us agree that things would be a lot more enjoyable without the level of rude behavior that seems to run amuck throughout this forum.
