Well, since Central and Eastern European banks are in deep doo-doo right now and going under big time, at the time of this writing, they are looking to the Western European banks to bail them out. If this does not occur, the European banking system, to include their precious euros, will become a sinking ship, much like the Titanic.
But this thread isn't about European euros, banking systems, or American punks, as I admit I digressed.
This thread is about an opinon that the European pool players are superior to American pool players. I disagree with this school of thought, and as such, I expressed my opinion. It is curious, though, why European pool greats such as Hohmann and others desire to live in the States. Hmm....
Hm, last time I checked the USD versus the Euro, I found out that I could afford my second custom cue from abroad.
In earnest, the way the U.S. "cure" their financial system sucks up a big part of the world-wide liquidity and there are quite a lot of experts who see this with concern. If the so-called "Hyperinflation" should really occur, it will be bad for the full western hemisphere.

We'll see what happens in the future, as it pertains to the global economy. China and the U.S. may be the new G2 as they are trying to help the poor countries with nutrition, infrastructure, education, et cetera. Japan is stepping up to the plate to help the developing countries. The Europeans aren't as forthcoming with their assistance to other countries less fortunate than themselves. That is not to say they do NOTHING, but they are not as forthcoming from the get-go.
Again, we both digress, as this thread is about pool. It's a shame that this thread is reduced to the us-versus-them mentality. I don't particularly enjoy watching the majority of European players compete. Some -- not all -- almost seem emotionless. Maybe it is the way they are trained. I find it unappealing.
I like emotion in sports. That's a personal preference of mine. There are some European players I do enjoy. Marcus, Sandor Tot, Evgeny Stalev, just to name a few. These players are joyful to watch.

Enough of this silly talk. We all know that the Europeans are a bunch of funzy/tournament players. Have them put up their own cash and the Americans will kick their ass off the face of the planet.

When I was in high school in Ohio I met allot of kids that had coaches and had been to pool schools and most of them couldn't really play.90% of greatness is desire and you cant coach that. I really believe with the wealth of information available today there are no secrets to the game its just how hard you want to work.As for the who's better part I believe Taiwan kills everyone.

Are you too stupid to realize that a lot of people think the Germans are better at a few games than their American counterparts and that just maybe that might have some legs to stand on?
Why is it that you concede somethings and not others? Is it only possible that other countries are better than America at only sports other than pool?
What if I was to say that the Asian Players are better at the top than the Americans? would you flip out then or do you just have issues with English or German or whatever players?

Yes AZ I must admit I have been caught. I do indeed smoke and sell crack in real life. As a matter of fact I am high as a kite right now.
Crack is sooo easy to buy here in Germany. Its all over the place much like Detroit or LA or ATL or NO.
