Anyone know what time the final will actually start? wnttv.com says 6:30, wntlivescores.com says 7:30. Is it in 20 minutes, or an hour and 20 minutes?

She should be happy. Josh Filler saved her from having an event without BOTH of the world's two best players. Emily is a very smart businesswoman, and she knows that Filler and Gorst are this generation's headliners in pro pool. She's wise enough to hang on tight to both of them.
A Filler miss at 4-1 is forgiven by a shocking miss on an easy 6ball by Oi. Now 5-1 Filler. Still, it's a long, long way to 13.
Naoyuki's story to this point has been missed opportunity. A missed kick in rack 7 by Filler gave him ball in hand but he failed to run out and ended up losing the rack. Filler 6-1. Naoyuki better raise his level soon.

I noticed the crowd on-site cheers and gives applause for every good shot by Oi, which is wonderful, but when Filler makes a good shot, they don't see as enthusiastic.
I also wonder why Pia did not accompany Josh to this event. Maybe she's competing in another pool tournament going on at the same time. The two of them, though, usually give each other good support.

He is a Predator sponsored player who played in a tournament sponsored by Predator.
……people who think he had an easy decision are being willfully ignorant.

it's what we do here in europe. it's so ingrained that i even do it in non-pool related situations
bit of a disappointment that it's so lopsided. but a fine display from filler. oi has been unlucky and it doesn't take much of that against filler for him to get 11 racks in short order
Luck has had little to do with this. Yes, Josh had one early fluke that earned him a rack, but Oi had chances in many of the early racks and wasted them. Since 6-1, it has been vintage Filler.
