Does anybody know what the Fargo cutoffs/grouping are for the singles divisions at Bca Vegas? Following some friends in the brackets and was just curious. Couldn’t find it on their website

I’m aware they’re not defined up front. I’m curious what ended being though, now that the tournament is underwayFargoRate Makes Sandbagging Useless
It would have been simple for us to create divisions by setting FargoRate boundaries. For example, we could have decided the Gold Division was for players rated 525-625. Anyone within that range would simply register for the Gold Division. However, that creates an incentive for some to intentionally lose to stay below those arbitrary lines. For example, if a player has a rating of 527 or 626, he or she would have an incentive to purposely lose matches to drive the rating down a few points and get into the lower division. We want to discourage such tactics and create an environment where everyone plays their best and always has an accurate rating. By not defining the rating boundaries up front, no one knows where the division breaks will occur and there is no need to ever lose in an attempt to lower a rating.

EligibilityI've never really followed these events... question: can anyone play in the singles as long as they have an established fargo rating? Or does their play have to be part of some league system? I might want to play next year, but have no interest in leagues. Thanks.
As stated above, you need 8 weeks of league play to play in the main tournaments, but the fair match tournament you only need to have an established Fargo. I know some players who basically fudged the 8 weeks, like they found an operator that let them play on a home table and just pay and report the matches, so they didn’t really have to play.I've never really followed these events... question: can anyone play in the singles as long as they have an established fargo rating? I don't work for the event. Can you explain why the top tier of the team events has been capped or eliminated? We were told that its based on Fargo and that even for the top tier Masters) theres a limit on the number of top rated players you can have on a team, a max Fargo total?
I've been playing 3c in a place where they have league nights and a weekly league tournament and it all looks like punishment.I've never really followed these events... question: can anyone play in the singles as long as they have an established fargo rating? He is in as Francisco Diaz, Naples FLI saw a 592 in platinum 8 ball and a 590 in gold so the cutoff must’ve been around there. I can’t find the guy who won platinum in the Fargo database, but he diced up the field only losing a few odd racks through the final bracket with many 700+ players
I play in a short summer league that gets all of my sanctions for the alphabet groups of sanctioning bodies just to keep me eligible if I decide to shoot certain select tournaments. I am a regular at our state BCAPL/CSI tournament.I've never really followed these events... question: can anyone play in the singles as long as they have an established fargo rating?
