Here's about 10 pics from the event showing the folks who got deep in the money. Hats off to Lewis and Paul for another great event. I think there were around 80-85 participants in the open event this time. Each picture will be in a seperate post, so give me a few minutes to put em all up. Enjoy.:)

Player auction is underway and run by one of the nicest guys around, Lewis (AZB's ironman). Sorry so blurry. He moves too fast. :D

One of the best young players in Texas, Sylver Ochoa.

Gordon Van Der Veer and the game he loves. He shot very well, as usual, all weekend.

This is Robert Stewart of Waco, Texas. I only saw a couple of his games this time because I didn't know much about him. Best believe I'll be watching more of him in the future. Outstanding 9-baller.

A true Lone Star legend. If you live in Texas and play pool, you know who "Bastrop James" Davis, Sr. is. He finished second this weekend.

Another action photo of James Davis, Sr. It's fun watching him shoot, not only because he can get out from just about anywhere, but also that he likes to use a lot of "body english." :D

Nut,
I couldn't give you any more rep; but many thanks for the pictures. I've heard all of the names, but had never seen the faces.

Don't you ever accuse me of that again Todd. The next time I see you, I'm gonna $&^t&*$*(()*^%$%#$&^#$#&w#@@$#&$%^&*(*&
Nice pictures. Was it hot or what?

And the winner of the event was... Charlie Bryant. He went undefeated all thru the event. That makes two in a row undefeated for the hillbilly. The A/C in the venue was messed up all weekend, so Charlie shot a lot of his matches in just a T-shirt.

Well, that's it. Hope ya'll enjoyed them all.:)

BTW, 3rd was taken by Sylver Ochoa who. in my opinion, had the best tournament. He lost his second or third match and came all the way thru the one loss side to eventually take third. I think he won 9 or 10 matches in a row on the one loss side.

4th was Gordon Van der Veer

The pictures are very much appreciated. Pool sure is alive and well all around the country, to include the Lone Star State! Thanks again for sharing! :)

Your welcome Charlie. Hopefully, Fast Eddie's will get the A/C fixed before the tour comes back. Talk about sweating the rail, literally!:D
