I didn’t know Tony said that, I haven’t seen a ton of Filler 1P. But I just have a hard time seeing Gorst beating Alex at 1PI doubt it. Filler destroyed Chohan (and Chohan admitted it) a year or two ago, and Fedor is prolly better at it than Filler.
The Eurokids can play one-pocket lol.
Changes the rack rule after day 1. Alex paid off pro rated to statr a new race to 50Sorry i work nights and have occasionally been trying to follow, but all the starting over has me thoroughly confused.
So 49-45 is current score and they are playing to 75? Any adding scores from previous days?
What are they playing to today?
Seem to recall that someone in this thread had it handicapped at 75-61 for the total match. Nice call, as it was 75-60 (25-15 and then 50-45).Gorst wins 50-45
I've never seen a 7' table anywhere in the Philippines. They might lynch me if I introduced them to the bar owners!Bar box, correct? I don't put much stock in top pros playing in the kiddie pool. Granted SVB won but that game is a breaking contest more than anything else. Barbox pool is THE biggest reason that US pool lags so far behind other countries. Go to Europe/Asia and try to find one. MIGHT find one in a bar/tavern but go to any poolroom and its ALL 9fts. Only place that plays on little table is that English 8b on what is basically a 3x6 snooker table.
The absolute best thing going for junior players in this country is Ra Hanna's Junior International Championships (JIC), which is a series of tournaments held at various locations across the country. Well organized, well run and a great opportunity for young players to compete and improve their games. Nice prizes as well, including scholarship money!not really. you have a club, yearly 100$ fee, some of this goes to the two weekly junior training hours, some of it goes to the national organization who among other things arranges a national junior championship. most of it will of course go back to the regular member in one form or another, like sponsoring tournament entry fees, lowering table rent, etc.
when i hear youth program i associate that with some kind of government involvement, which is rare outside of maybe taiwan and the netherlands (iirc the pros get some funding there). in most countries it's just structured organization aimed at attracting junior players, and in most countries i bet they aren't as successful at doing this as they would like to be. everyone i speak to seems to moan about the lack of young players..
Tournament play and gambling are Completely different competitions, I mean that in a good way.I doubt it lol. Fedor won banks and one-pocket at dcc. And is a better shooter. He'll prolly just play him straight up.
That said, Alex would still be a slight favorite.
Filler and now Gorst continue to defy us on what they are capable of doing at just about any game on a pool table.Fedor would be smart to decline on that, at least for the time being.
Lol, ok. Me too. It's what I do for a living. Scout.Tournament play and gambling are Completely different competitions, I mean that in a good way.
Alex is a waaaaaaaaaaaaaay better gambler than Ghorst.
It's Reality, compared to one tournament match.
I can watch any player and find weakness & strength.
Remember when all schools in Taiwan "taught pool"?Not really at all. Having a youth championship doesn't mean you have a "youth program". Also, people don't like hearing their bubbles being burst of their misperception on all European governments support of players. But it keeps getting repeated over and over so it must be true.![]()
Cristopher Tevez is from Peru but has basically been "living" in Texas lately while stateside. My guess is that whoever first submitted him to FargoRate knew he was "living" in Texas at the time, and heard he was from the city of Lima, and so they assumed he must be from a town called Lima, Texas and submitted it to FargoRate that way, when it is actually should have been Lima, Peru (Lima being the capital and largest city of Peru). Thanks for the info. Fargo rate has him listed from Lima, TX. LOL How do you think he would do against Hennessee?
