I'm saying the ball rebounds better than on dry cloth due to the friction not the rubber.
I have watched most of the matches the past two days. SVB is beyond impressive. Hasn’t shown his age at all. In fact, he got stronger both days the longer the match went on. Fedor has faltered at times in what appeared to be lapses of concentration
No surprise but the break has been huge. Shane gets more balls in and has had easier runouts.
Not just that, though. Fedor‘s jumping has not offered much advantage and SVB has had a clear upper hand in safety battles.
Fedor had an 11-win advantage at the halfway point of the first day. Since then SVB has had an 18-game edge.
Hard to see Fedor coming back. He cannot afford to fall behind by 10-plus earl. And his safety game has to be better.

thanks for letting me know. That's a bit odd- I think they should have a pay by day option even if it is a little more- say $12 instead of $10. I haven't had time to watch the match live but should have time today but probably won't purchase it because $30 is steep for one day (I don't really have interest in watching recordings of the first 2 days)
First day it was $40 for the whole match, that's what I bought. I didn't check the price on day 2. Day 3 is now $30. So it was discounted. It also gives access to all of their prior matches. There is a Gorst vs Chohen one pocket match, Oscar vs Reinhard, and a few others.

I had fedor a small favorite, only because of the format. Shorter format I’d have called it a coin flip or maybe had Shane the favorite by the thinnest margin.
Shane has been playing imo his best pool the last couple years only by a hair.
So far my estimation has been wrong, his age isn’t showing up. Ofc he’s not that old but when your age starts with a “4” funny things can happen in rotation games. Unless your name is Ronnie and you play snooker.
I’m super glad the got this game down and it’s happening.
Shane works harder than any champion I’ve ever known or seen. He’s certainly paid his dues twice.
By all appearances I believe he’s going to close this out and win. Will he win more games on the last day? Not sure, I hope he does.
What’s really interesting is what happens next time they play? Is this the start of something like the Alex P action? I hope so! I’ve always been a firm believer that action drives pool. At least the version of pool I like.
While I don’t know Fedor he has had my respect as a player for a good bit of time now and his future certainly looks great.
And as Jay noted “I’m back” for a bit.

Same here, too bad -- they're leaving money on the table, IMO.
Wife is out of town, so I'd pay $10--12 for today. No interest in watching the previous days.
