Final of Yalin World Women's 10-Ball Championship

Did you guys notice the music that was playing while the trophy presentation was going on? It went "SEX ON THE BEACH! SEX ON THE BEACH!" for a good minute LMAO

And again, I am proud to be "no american" or "asian", but "austrian"
Congrats to the best woman player on the planet, and her first WC title - awesome.

Congratulations to Jasmin, a fine player and a total class act. She is a credit to the game! This is one woman who is fully capable of winning an "open" event right now. And she's not the only one either. Boy, how I'd love to see the world's ten best women players enter the U.S. Open next year. I'm talking, Jasmin. Karen, Allison, Kelly, Yu Ram, Ga Young and a few of the Chinese champs. That crew might shake things up a little. I can dream, can't I? What an Open that would be!

Hi Jay,

have I told you that I read your book three times now - I love it
And you are right in terms of women at the US OPEN in my mind,
but they shouldn´t be TEN, they should be the "HALF of the whole FIELD".
And then - let´s see what happens, you know. The best 256 men and women.

Eric"h" ----- still thinks that the last 8 would be men

I agree. Jasmin is a class act, and she gives pool a good image. I too would love to see the top women players in the world come to the US Open next year. Don't forget Cheri (Shu Han Chang and X Pan and 2 or 3 from PI. Johnnyt

Congrats to Jasmin who I feel is well on her well to being the next Pool Superstar. Also congrats to my pal Dana, who finished 17th in her first international event. Not bad for this UGA grad and relative newbie to the WPBA.

Congrats Jasmin! on a super performance, you really showed tons of heart! I'd love to see the Open again, especially with the lineup Jay was talking about. I saw the first two US Opens that had Karen and Ga Young in the finals in Albuquerque, one win each. Also, this world championship had a really cool poster...where can I get one?
:p
