Fine Italian Cuemakers...

didn't they do the Dreamolini line of cues...?

Exactly. But they were short lived because they ran out of the materials they were using and were never able to source enough of it again. If you find one, hold onto it. Solid Ivory cored butts is the legend. You have to test it with a tuning fork to tell if it is the real deal with that amazing core.

You people have the artistic sensabilities of a Troglodyte. You people wouldn't know Italian quality if it hit you in the face like one of your Troglodyte buddies' clubs.

To test this theory, I advise one of you to buy this fine Italian designed and built pool cue and club each other in the face with it (which just happens to be for sale on my local Milwaukee Craigslist for $20 right now):

(The "Colpo Mostro" as it is known in the motherland or "monster hit" as you Trogs like to call it is in the patented design of the long pin.)

Forget the cue, look at the case!

Genuine Naugahyde!

WOW!! A Torino!! With the superleggera(really light in Eyetalian) ferrule and extra-long pin. Dude, this is the cuestick equivalent of Wonka's EverlastingGobstobber. Eureka, it's been found! Let the bidding begin.

I just got a great deal on a JOSSINI by some cat named Guglielmo Stroudioli. Supposed to be BS's long-lost cousin. Lives in a village called Tweeteni. Supposed to be where they invented the leather tip. Did i get taken?

Well it'a got to beat that crap Danny Janes has been turning out for the last 40 years

no feelings ?

Yes it is a beautiful case, but think of how many baby Naugas died to make it.
if you have seen the horrible videos of the baby Naugas, where the hunters hit
them in the head with brick bats and take their hydes to make pool cue cases
maybe you would not think it is so beautiful, or maybe you would.

JOSS production stuff is not so bad. His handmades have always been nice. 40yrs?? Seriously?? I had a few in late 70's thru mid 80's that are as nice as anything Stroud made.

Maybe 3 hours of sleep is clouding my judgement but, this is a hilarious thread.

I love it, keep them coming, Guisseppe Cappuccino has his eyes on us.

A closer look and it is easy to see that is fine Italian Naugahyde and looks like a early Rustico Meltoni to me.

respectfully, I disagree.

If you look closely at the zipper you will see the casemaker's mark.

It's a Jack JustiSicilian.

Ah, we have an expert on this subject....KC grew up around naugas....
...been hunting them since he got his first rifle at the age of twelve.

...used an old Model T Ford horn to call them in...NAUGA NAUGA

BTW...little known fact...Herman Rambotini made his cue butts very thick.....
....to punish the air-barrelers...."You don't pay, i break your face"...

A little off the thread but as long as we on the Italians

You know what................

FIAT stands for? FixItAgainTony. Ok last one: A Roman walks into a bar, holds up two fingers and says, "I'll take five".
