That’s a good question. I can tell you what I’m not. I’m not a guy who has ever had any one beg to strangers on a website (that you claim to think sucks btw) for donations. Nor have I ever been banned for being an asshat.
You are showing exactly what you are, not that anyone really ever questioned it. At least until recently you were considered a good table mechanic, you should stick with that and leave the heavy lifting to people more suited for the job. I've said it before, I'll say it again. The viewing audience is the greatest sponsor on the planet, but if you want their dollars, you have to provide something to watch worth their while, when THEY have the time to watch it. Get their attention first, and the major advertisers will follow with their advertising dollars next. Use those dollars to support the real professional players in this sport, and it'll gain the respect of the world, AND create a structured system in which future participants can strive to achieve success and stardom a the upcoming Professional players of the future!!

Why would I leave? I haven’t been forced into exile for cheating anyone and I haven’t been banned (yet). And this time of the year I think the tides control my emotions more than you possibly could. I’m fishing the King of the Beach this weekend (it’s not a sport btw-although as much as it costs it should be) and then I’m tarpon fishing in Boca Grande 8 days around the first moon of May. (That’s closer to being a sport-it’s freaking exhausting). And the Lightning are in town and playing pretty good so I’m gonna catch a game or two. I’m getting all emotional just thinking about it.
But you need to keep the eye on the prize. Quit wasting time with nobodies like me and stay focused. Do you think Abe Froman became the Sausage King of Chicago by taking days off to argue with nobodies? Of course not! Dammit, this is what happened the last time you tried to save pool! Quit pissing into the wind and get shit done. Guys like me who have absolutely nothing in their lives (except four kids, an overachieving wife, and way too many hobbies, wine and rum) need you to succeed this time. When looking for outside sponsorship, stop looking for the businesses selling products for $1,000's of dollars, look for the sponsors that are selling the products to the middle class and low income, because their PRODUCTS are affordable, but rely on the constant reminder, to think of their products when you have an itch so-to-speak. They advertise to the masses worldwide, as they're all for the most part, INTERNATIONAL ADVERTISERS, not just NATIONALLY located!
