Does Brunswick offer a 9ft one piece 1" thick slate like this? And for those of you that would prefer a 3 piece slate, this table is offered that way as well.

I installed 3 of these Diamond Walnut 9ft Professionals in a retirement center in Mesa, AZ. I also installed the slates by myself as you can see...LOL...it's all about knowing what you're doing.

Pictured is the Diamond leveling system that allows total control of the level of the slate. There is no other table built today that will allow a mechanic to level the slates AFTER the cloth and rails have been installed. But with the Diamond leveling system the slate is pre-leveled before the rails and cloth is installed, then again after to fine tune the level of the slate.

They wouldn't let my little truck spend the night there, so I know they won't let a BIG TRUCK stay either...

So are you saying you converted a Gold Crown table to a sort of Diamond set up?

Use the origonal base and modify the slate / rails / skirt?

If so I have a GCII That I would consider having converted in the future....

What kind of cost????

If I converted a Brunswick table, slate and all to be more like a Diamond...I think I'd be unemployed today:D

But if I wanted to, and I'm not saying I would, yes, I could convert any Brunswick GC from the slate up to be a Diamond, including the leveling system...but I feel that would be really unfair to Diamond, as they've spent a lot of money and time on their tables to get them to this point.

But if you'd like, I can rebuild your GC to look and play just like a Diamond ProAm, the cost of that shouldn't be much more than about $5,000 including my travel time and all you know...:D Add about $1,500 more if you'd like it to look like a Diamond Professional, it's not easy performing magic sometimes....hehe

Nice pics.

Two things:

1. I, too, want to retire to that spot.
2. My back hurts a bit just looking at that shot of you handling the slate!

RV resort in AZ.

Valle Del Oro in Masa, Az. is one of best for Playing pool. They have 3 in park tournaments for men, three woman tournaments and one men and woman tournament a week.

Does that nifty cart have a break system for taking the slate down hills? I was considering a Diamond, but figured that the slate would never make it down the side of my house to the daylight basement area.

OUCH!!!!

$6500.00 + Travel Time?

or I guess I could just find and actual slightly used Diamond for about $4500.00 installed and dump my GCII for about $1500.00

HMMMMM....decisions decisions....

The mechanic doth protest too much methinks.

A challenge based on 1 or 3 piece slate? lol. And for the record, I love diamonds, but the GC is every bit as good to play on. Just a bit more expensive. I understand you benefit from diamonds, but why would you try to call out the industry leader unprovoked? Just seems weird.

Upgrade?

Glenn, can I get the leveling system and 1-piece slate next time you come through here?
