He passed away this evening. He was meeting a friend to head to a pool tournament and was in a head-on accident.

RIP Tony, you will be missed.
 
very sad,we got word of this earlier and couldn't believe it. he will be missed by many. he was one of the top players in nc.

I am so sad to hear this. I looked him up on Google and found an article about the best players from North Carolina, and his name was among the top 10. They attribute a picture of Tony Watson from AzBilliards, but they should have said JAM because this is my photo. :grin:

I was shocked when I heard the news last night. You just never know when its time. RIP Tony.
 
Wow...just googled "tyson morrison" after coincidentally coming across the article Jam mentions and this thread was the first thing that popped up...shocking. RIP.
 
I always liked Tony, he was one of the first ppl I got down with in pool, never did me wrong and played hard when I bet on him win or lose. R.I.P. Tyson
 
We had several talks when I was in and out of charlotte. He propositioned me and knew I wouldn't bite. From then on he would just grin and say " what are we gonna do" and I would say " If I beat you, I get no action " . He just laughed. God Bless
